Love this! I had no idea how cool it was to use a Gelli plate..i had heard a lot about them but never really looked into them! I will definitely be getting one and can't wait to start Wanderlust 2018!!

Actually, fluid acrylics are FUN on a geli plate because they don't stay in place. They separate in unpredictable ways and give interesting patterns.

Really cool but that plate is so expensive!!! Wonder if u could do something similar w saran wrap or glass plate. Hummmmm. 🤔

They are really nice though when you have them but yes they are spendy. You should try this on the saran or glass and see how it goes! If you do let us know. I would be excited to see the results!

I highly recommend the gelli plates, they are the perfect density and very strong and reusable. But I have seen recipes for making your own gelatin printing plate. But since they are not synthetic they only last so long.

Hello, Amber. You are right, they are expensive. I’m a little late to this post so you may already have your plate, but just wanted to share that I got my 8x10 plate at no cost from Amazon. I have a card enrolled which earns reward points. I just used some points.
