I made it to all 50, Woohoo! There's hardly any material out there on all the Babok techniques and this is an awesome overview to have before diving deeper into the Babok nitty gritty. Thanks Angelo!

I honestly love this ! I would watch even if it were 15mins. Which would also give you more watch time (more YT $$$)! (Not saying you need it, but hey, who doesn’t love more money) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!

I did all 50. What about Impact Analysis Angelo. Do you ever do them and is it a form of 1 of the 50 or different altogether?
@AngeloTheBA Жыл бұрын
Congratuations! To answer your question, it depends on what you mean or hope to accomplish with an impact analysis. A business case is arguing why you should invest in some change, part of that "argument" is what would happen if you don't (impact). In a way, it's also part of SWOT, when you are talking about Opportunities & Threats. Risk Analysis/Management also covers some of what you might put into an impact analysis. You could even argue that evaluation criteria and the weights you give different capabilities are a way of documenting impact (higher weight, higher impact). Ultimately, it comes down to what your stakeholders need, in what format they want it, and what they want to call it. For example, a business case template for a company might require a SWOT analysis, Financial analysis, and Risk Analysis, and Evaluation Criteria which you could argue is impact analysis.

Hi. In order to clear the CBAP exam how deep one has to understand these 50 techniques and it's intricacies? Babok v3 guide gives a lot of info on these techniques

Enough that if I gave you a situation and told you to pick between 4 different, but similar techniques, you could choose the best one.

There certainly is a mistake... On both videos. You're the first to point it out.
