Oh My Goodness! I have really been struggling with using this stuff and especially with removing it, scraping the heck out of my skin with tweezers and messing up my designs. Your video blew my mind with the lint roller trick! And the orangewood stick trick! The instruction on the cuticle area is a game changer. In all of the 1000's of videos I have watched I have never seen any of these tricks before. Thank you sooo much! I also see that I was putting it on too thin and it seems if my skin is too dry I just kind of absorb it and it won't come off and I am picking it out of my nails for a week. Thank you SOOO MUCH!!! Off to do more nail art now , without all the clean-up!

6 years later and you are still saving lives! I used latex tape for the first time today. It was thin, so I put 2 coats, but could not remove it. For 20 minutes, I scraped, picked, and rubbed with little success. It looked like I had a skin condition. Found your video. I don't have a lint roller nearby, but have Scotch tape. WORKED! and fast! Thank you! 💕❤💕

I bought liquid latex a couple of months ago and used it once. It was a disaster! I couldn't get a clean line near the skin/nail border--and keeping polish from my skin was the reason I bought it in the first place. Then my fingers stuck together and all the latex came off. It was such a disappointment. Now I know how to avoid those problems and use it properly. Thank you!

I heard you mention a latex peel off base coat. I just bought one and have been thinking about getting latex guard. So how exactly can I prevent from both coming together and peeling off together? Do you have a video that can help me with this? That would be extremely helpful. Love all your tips!
@GelsNGemsNails4 жыл бұрын
When using a peel-off base coat of any kind you have to be really careful not to let you other latex touch the nail at all. You can use a toothpick or orangewood stick to help separate the two before they dry. Hope that helps
@thehavoccultist2 жыл бұрын
Is there other ways you can keep them from sticking together ? I don’t have baby powder or lint tape
@GelsNGemsNails2 жыл бұрын
any kind of powder would probably work, maybe try a loose setting powder or some makeup you may have.
@lifeandrandomness1868 Жыл бұрын
I was thinking about something I saw recently: those foam separators typically used on toes during a pedicure could just as easily be placed between the fingers. Haven't tried it myself, so I have no idea if it makes painting/nail art too awkward to be useful, but it looks sound enough to me to try it soon. We shall see...

Bundle Monster, now called Manniolgy doesn't carry this anymore but Amazon has some great options, just type in Latex Poli-Peel Cuticle Nail Protector
@lifeandrandomness1868 Жыл бұрын
Update, 4.28.2023: Maniology (formerly known as Bundle Monster) does sell Poli Peel, as well as a non-latex version called Mani Mask. They also have single-use adhesive cuticle nail tape (a U-shaped barrier you stick on your finger around the nail prior to any doing nail art that otherwise tends to leave a mess on the surrounding skin). Just wanted to put this out there for anyone who may be interested.

And also can we use normal talcum powder instead of baby powder
@marinvanz.19243 жыл бұрын
Maby you already know what a lintroller is, but it's a roller with some kind of tape on it, where you can roll of dust or something like that,of of your clothes, curtains, couches and things like that. I had to look it up for myself as well on Google😉😁

I have older topcoats and basecoats, don't want to buy anymore. Online forums Reddit etc say you can layer peel off basecoats and latex to make a hybrid basecoat. I paint MUA Peel off, let that basecoat dry, then layer a little liquid latex, let dry then mix/ add a CND SHELLAC basecoat or Zoya Armor basecoat! My oily nails have 2 weeks wear, less chipping if I use a bonder, and my bendy nails don't break as much! I'm m fed up of wasting cash on expensive 15ml indie bottles of polish! UK 🇬🇧💋 5.11.24
