Thanks for casting my game Turin! I often practice with Keklord. Geltbloom I've been finding has been great since his cost reductions. I really like the Coatl now, but I certainly didn't play it right. If I had it for the late game to use it's collision attacks I could have won that. Still, shouldn't have lost Mazda either way. I get that chaos factions don't really have a better competitive option but lord do I get tired of seeing marauder horsemen throwing axe spam in every game. Doesn't feel thematic most of the time and certainly boring to constantly see.

Still better than it used to be in the beginning of domination mode. With mostly chaos factions only in base WH3, most games started with 4 v 4 marauder horsemen throwing at each other 😅

Not really a chaos thing though. Every faction that gets a skirmish cav unit brings the max amount at the start.

Coatls are one of those units that have really strong combat stats but you leave them in combat for ages and they get a few hundred value. They just don't seem to land hits properly. Carnos have never had that problem and it's great to see someone showing that they have their uses.

the carnosaurs are so bad at killing inf blobs, only real use is for general sniping or attacking large units which to be fair it does very well. The 3700 Dread Saurian can do both very well but due to its size it just gets insta deleted by armor piecing ranged units lol, theirs no middle ground dino that can do both and not cost 4k gold while also not being the size of a building.

So many of the expensive dinosaurs need stat buffs, but the Dread Saurian is the worst offender. Costs the same as a Thunderbarge but performs very poorly. The only one that can do okay at times is the RoR version that gives nearby units -6 leadership, but I think a good starting point for all of them would be to have an ability similar to Be’lakor’s one where it’s -6 leadership and removes immune to psychology and, possibly, unbreakable. These are supposed to be units that can go toe-to-toe with Star Dragons and the Greater Daemons but the stats just do not reflect that.

@@campber9908 the 3700 Dread Saurian is actually very good, in my opinion its the best monster/large single entity unit in the game by far. It can kill blobs of inf in seconds even anti large spear inf, every other dino kinda just sucks ass tho especially the triceratopses, my god they're so bad lol.

Every time I see dinos I get sad they probably aren't getting any further reworks. For MP the Carnos really need to be like 80 speed (and probably some other stat changes) maybe even give all Carnos strider like Geltblöm's terror. In campaign plz plz fix blessed spawnings and make them actually blessed by an old one and actually useful.

Geltblöm send to the backline recklessly, Mazdamundi sent into bestigor blob If those 2 pieces were keep together whit all of their aura, i think it would be gg for the dino ; also keeping your army together in this game instead of pressuring all 3 points, it seems counter intuitive against nurgle but here nurgle summoned a lot of fast cav and not that many meat grinder units, even then if you make nurgle blob it will let him vulnérable to the dino's spells !

@IIIJG52 could be an easy one. i would love it from a flavour standpoint if Carnosaurs and Dread Saurians had an aura that removed ITP, so they're always a terrifying unit. maybe too much for MP

Legend recommended feral carnosaur highly in his tier list due in part to the animations. He never ranks anything with rampage highly.

Multiplayer and campaign have a very different dynamic when it comes to units and it is very common that a unit performing extremely badly in one is really good in the other.
