My very first match in my first tournament and I think I did pretty well. I think my main mistake was blundering my minos, if I could have kept them around for longer they might have been able to keep the Dread saurian and kroxigors in check

It was a good showing. I generally agree. I also think your horseman play could use some polishing. The ones you blundered early could have had a big impact on the enemy starting army and would have been excellent for trying to get those Salamanders.

9:30 overextension and underestimating just how quickly a Dread Saurian can obliterate a position if it is allowed to focus it's attacks. It killed one of your cultists in seconds and just rolled through everything else with support from the Sally's and Red Skinks.

I remember once around 24 years ago when a classmate brought a Warhammer magazine with him to school. I fell in love with Lizardmen then and there, and I haven't stopped loving them since. Watching high-level players taking them for a spin is always a treat.

They’re super strong but I think they’re cool as fuck. They only have like one super cheesey build but their roster is so wide and dinosaurs riding dinosaurs casting magic and shit is always a treat

Feel like the Sallys were the true MVPs. Spent the entire game drawing the attention of enemy units but somehow managed to slip away each time.

They also were the main tool for getting rid of the Marauder Horsemen. Anytime the Horsemen showed up, the Salys were there to spit fire at them until they ran away. If they weren't there to keep the Horsemen away, the Saurian would have gone down eventually.

Kinda makes me wish damage magic just was never good against elite infantry. People do bring them but wide is pretty often the only meta play.

Would be nice if they included a dispel mechanic so you could protect your infantry. In tabletop that is an option.

Weird that the Salamanders dont have any Fireresistanze. On that Note. Aquatic Units should get massive Fireresist when they´re in Water. Edit: The Chosen did pay for themselve with 1480 Value. But i would rather get two Warriors with Halbards against Lizards.

Chosen were more of a for fun pick to be honest and a bit of a hail mary, a unit of halberds and another flesh hound would definitely be the optimal pick

Zero chaos warriors with halberds was a pretty big throw versus the monster mash faction. That being said, Khorne really lacks anti-large tools as a whole, especially affordable one's. A marauder with spears would do wonders for the Khorne roster.

sometimes I really think, total war AI of the single models should hit/be hit more acurate. The scene of the dread saurus hugging those khornates while they move back looked weird and did no damage.

dreadsuarian one of my favorite units after the bastiladons. I love seeing it preform. also you should make a vid listing all the unit nick names like the clever girls, sneeky snakes, bannana slan and so on cuase its fun.

Khorne doesnt need a good lord, Valkia needs a nerf. Demonshield matched with her insane mobility is so silly. Fly in, duel for 20 seconds, take no damage back, fly away when it runs out, rinse and repeat.

Looking at the unit icon during the loading screen it doesn't have any chevrons, so it looks like it earned all those chevrons. Considering it got over 4000 value that makes sense.

People tend to judge units a bit too hard on their endscreen value imo. Looking at value can be a bit misleading and doesn't take into account a units ability to tank. Denying the enemy units value and just establishing presence on the battlefield, leadership benefits of staying stable etc. Valkia can waste alot of time for the enemy units without letting them accrue value with her small target and demon shield.

Why do elite units not have magic resistance equal to their "eliteness"? Wow, all these cool units we gave you, but don't accually use them cause they just liabilities.
