It would be interesting to see a tournament with only tier 3+ units. No chaff, no direct damage spells, only healing or buff spells, just a chance to run the "elite" units.

I wish mark of nurgle was reworked a bit since aside from the health bonus, it doesn't feel like a premium worth paying for, especially rosterwide. Since contact effects don't stack, the benefit you get from another unit having poison is zero if it's already applied to the same enemy unit. And poison was an offensive effect in tabletop allowed you to bypass rolling for wounds if you rolled 6 on chance to hit, which in Total War terms would translate to hits doing extra damage.

It’s surprises me that the Empire does not have a true monster unit, it’s surprises me how they will never have the incarnate elemental of fire, even though it is well documented of bright wizards using them to settle disputes with each other and their absolute destruction of those in the way. It would likely be an unorthodox unit to add, but I think if the Empire does have one more DLC(they did promise us that Boris will have his day) they could likely add that as the centerpiece unit especially since they’re probably gonna focus more on the Magic side of the empire.

Summoning a greater demon equivalent should get you shot by a witch hunter. The lore got really bad during the end times starting with things like this. And this thing is so dumb on the Kislev roster. But it is easy to trademark so GW likes it.

Like it or not, there is a part of the warhammer fanbase that wants the game to be "historical+" rather than doing anything "high fantasy." Empire is their faction, so the most you are going to get it the silly boat.

@@marcel-q1m I think they make sense, Kislev is supposed to be more folksy and wild than the empire. It makes sense for Kislev having literal living representations of The Land rising up to face chaos (this is why I also don't have a problem with things in the woods). The main problem with Kislev is how clumsily the whole great orthodoxy/ice court/hag witch conflict is depicted, in that it basically isn't at all.
