Welcome to the July challenge hosted by ‎@CeriGriffiths ! #GelyPostcardPlay
The guidelines are: 4"x6" size, use something that was made on a gelplate or made while using a gelplate to include digitals/printables, put the corresponding number on the front (July 1 would be a one, etc.), and have fun. If you want to play and don't have any gelplate related items just play along anyway. Do it when you can. If you don't make 31, it's okay.

I'm using June prompts by Paulla, Becky. and ‎@EddieMakesArt for a jumping off point for some of the cards. The printable for that can be found on Eddie's community page in KZbin.
My goal is to post every day in July. Most videos will be short with some longer ones showing techniques on the gel plate, etc.
I will be choosing a winner from the comments for each postcard mid August. I'm making one to keep and one to give away each day. The giveaway is open to anywhere I can mail an envelope without filling out paperwork. If I can mail it with an international forever stamp, I'll mail it.

I have been watching lots of your videos recently, but on the TV, so I can’t make a comment, this time I can! Your video intrigued me as it’s the second mention of glue books I have seen this week, having never heard of them before. I love the idea of mismatching scale - a brilliant way to really enjoy it. I now need to acquire lots of magazines to cut up. I think this would be brilliant for anytime, but especially when I can’t think what to do. Hi Darcy, I enjoyed watching you do the glue book style! I've seen some of your videos showing your glue books before and was very intrigued. I have since tried dabbling a little in that style. I seem to have a problem where the magazine page gets wrinkly as it dries. Do you have any tips you can share? Also, I think you should keep the one that makes you happy! You deserve it! TFS 😊

I haven't had a lot of wrinkling when using the glue stick. What type of glue are you using?

@DarcysMixedMedia I think I used mod podge but it could have been Elmer's 2x glue stick. I really can't remember. I'm gonna do another one today and will use my glue stick. Thanks 😊
