Hey Paul great Wednesday morning shave. Really nice vintage razor. I brought and used my first vintage razor. I was lucky to find a Gillette British Flare Tip Rocket. It shaves like a dream and I am very happy with it . I'm a huge supporter of creating a lather in a bowl. I'm going to say I bowl lather 98% of my shaves 😂. I love creating a lather I find it relaxing. Take care and see you for your Sunday shave.

I like lathering in a bowl or on my face. I tend to use soft soaps in the bowl and hard ones i face Lather. I like my Gem 1912 on occasion as well. Blades are kind of difficult to find so i buy a hundred at a time. They last 7-14 shaves per blade smoothly. I like a good pre-shave and a nice thick tallow soap with my GEM. With the 1912 i ride the cap and drive fairly slow. Easy does it and it gives me a good shave.

I love gem blades, I use the Blackland Sabre, not as audible as your bullet.

Beautiful roses today, the color is outstanding, thanks Mrs H. The "Magic Eye", have one of those razors, brand new in the case never used. SOTD: Razor Emporium "Fireside" soap/splash, ATT SS razor w/Nacet blade, RazoRock synth brush, alum, witch hazel and AV 5in1 balm to finish...Super. Great video and results today, do enjoy.

My Gem Bullet Tip razor was evidently manufactured later, because it has a plastic tip. Also, it doesn't have the nice plastic case, and it isn't gold. I have no complaints though. It's a decent razor, and I've always liked how it felt in my hand.

SOTD was Zaharoff Leather/Tabac soap, tea tree WH, Zaharoff Tabac aftershave splash, followed by Nivea post-shave balm. Extraordinary results!😊 Mrs. H again hitting the arrangement out of the park!

A single edge razor! There's something rare. Usually the industrial quality SE blades are used for scraping paint, but a GEM blade will work just fine for a good shave

You're using the wrong angle. The blade cover should be flat against your face. This is the reason for the guiding eye razor.
