just FYI, my lift was always getting out of level and I discovered that the pulley wheel on the cradle was stuck and the cable was cutting into the stuck pully, slowing it down and knocking it out of level. Replacing the stuck pulley wheel fixed and now it stays level.

Can you also do the front of the boat with the lever switch. Will this effect the limit switch
@chesapeake_boat_lifts5 ай бұрын
Hi Chris, no, not with this particular style of lift. The fore / aft pitch is determined and adjust by cable lengths.

@@chesapeake_boat_lifts I have a elevator lift and the rear or stern is lower than the front
@chesapeake_boat_lifts5 ай бұрын
Then yes, you should be able to raise the stern with the leveling switch . Be mindful though, elevator lifts do not like to be run particularly out of level they work best when flat so try to keep it as flat as possible, while still allowing water to drain aft.

I can get either the bow or stern level from side to side, but not both. In other words only one of the "corners" is not level. How do I fix that? Thanks

Hard to say without seeing it, but there’s a very good chance your cables need to be rewrapped or adjusted (assuming it’s a lift of this style depicted in the video)
