I am a single mum by widowhood, my husband died at 33 when our daughter was 11mths old. It's hard, I went weeks just sleeping in what I had worn in the day in a bed without sheets on... BUT my daughter was always in clean clothes, her bedroom & play area were always clean (simple organisation is a must) & the food preparation area of the kitchen was always clean. I would say declutter & organise the kitchen first is a must, life got easier after that. Meal planning helped make things better and PILLOWCASES! Sort your clothes & kids clothes into pillowcases; darks in a dark one, colours in colourful one & socks & pants in one. It made laundry so much easier as you just grab the pillowcase out of the laundry basket instead of having to sort before you start. A load of laundry every day makes such a difference too. Above all though, love those kids first and foremost and their little hugs will keep you going 💖☺️

❤🙏 Love Love Love Single mum here. Have just climbed up from a few years of total darkness... The apartment have been a total disaster. Some days I didn't even get out of bed, when the kids were at their dad's. But you Gemma, and I have to say also (Mighty mama), have helped me to get things done. Slooowly yes. But I'm getting there. I'm not following the method yet. But I get triggered to do something every day just by the reminder from the app. 😊 Thank you so much for your lovely content.

Loving these chats about different life circumstances. Any tips for pregnant people? Especially those of us with kids already? It would be great to have some tips on what to do to prepare before baby arrives so they house doesn’t become a total disaster after as I know it takes time to get back to a proper cleaning routine.
