Worked at United for 5yrs and I'll tell you; even the "Legacy" (big airlines) still have the same problem as the smaller ones. Some gates for these smaller stations have on the ground gate crews that not only; greet customers at the gate, but ALSO load the plane with bags AND cargo,THEN guide your plane back for departure. So much to do for minimum wage. Then y'all traveled during bad weather and around the solar eclipse?! Not surprised the delays took a day but I am sorry regardless. Best of luck, from Colorado!

I have the same story as where I was 5 ft but one of my friends was 5, ft 5" in 6TH GRADE (The friend was a girl) so I was short in my friend group. I feel for you gem😂

I suspect that given she was bringing stuff for the charity auction, it would not have fit without checked baggage. And packing lightly is only good if you're there for a few days, whereas I think Gem was gone for a whole week.

I had a 5 hour layover in the Toranto Airport from Orlando to Tokyo... it is an oddly arranged airport. Now... going from gate C to gate EE in Altanta, GA airport is a marathon race.

to be fair, Atlanta is the most traveled through airport daily, so I'd say they have a reason. Toronto probably doesn't even make the top like 20

I travelled from Mexico to Sweden once, for a course. My luggage got lost between the US and Sweden and it took 3 days for it to appear, at least the airline gave me some money and one of the course coordinators took me shopping, because we were in the middle of nowhere. I now travel with all essentials with me on board XD

I've seen one of those "15 minutes" signs once (also at DTW), was there with/for my friend and it made me feel like my soul was being ripped out. We were there "on time" (I guess? maybe? maybe 25mins?), got the luggage, but FIFTEEN? MINUTES? Airports already give off irrational levels of fear and unease!

Air Canada is awful. My sister and I flew with them last year. Took 24 hours to get from CA to Brazil. The cheapest flight connected through Toronto, and I agree with Gem's assessment that it was the worst airport I have ever been to. Had to jump through all sorts of hoops to guarantee a vegetarian meal was reserved for my sister and they gave it away to someone else. Never again!

I live on Vancouver Island and i have to take the ferry because i don't have a passport (my parents are divorced and I'm not 16 yet) i don't know if i can take the airlines but ferry is better

I've always drove from the U.S. to Canada and back. For me it's like, 7-8 hrs with no rest. I just went to Canada for the week and customs was sooooo slow. Has anyone been to the CN tower? I went for the 360 dining thing.

Its not bad music, she is popular for a reason, but i have no idea why people are willing to pay that much for tickets to her concerts, and sometimes drive for several hours or even take a flight just to see her live
