0:44 you can see that the knots connecting the lines with the canopy have not set yet. You may want to check they have synched tight in the correct positions! If they set improperly and you get unlucky in the RND department, the trim could be affected!

Very nice to see you so happy with a new wing. I can imagine because it's a very nice wing and flies so smooth! You look really happy both and that's so good to see in these times! 😄 What a beautifull spot to fly as often as you can. I am a little bit jealous because I live in a flat land 😊

Can you give an assessment of how useful it is to use a light umbrella on the coast with sand? You also do a lot of groundhandling. Is the service life severely limited? Does wear and tear become noticeable quickly? Etc.? Many thanks

I couldn't stop smiling while watching this. Ive only had one new wing (Swing Arcus back in 2004), others all s/hand since. Sooo, jealous, makes me want to return to the sport. Happy for Gemma though I have watched your more recent video where she considers a high B wing. I'm happy just to pootle around so I'll aways be an A guy :) Anyhoo, I watched loads of your vids yesterday and happily subscribed for more :) Safe n fun flying guys, Rob.

Nice wing. Congrats! But...all in all André's colours are much nicer from my point of view ;) Taking the Ion in mind... It was an Ion 2 ?! They are at the Ion 6 now. So it was old from point of development and also old by just looking at the age in general. Clear thing that there would be a huuuge difference. For me as pilot of an class A wing, I'm looking forward to testfly a wing from Low-B class sometime in the future.

Awesome! Sharing your excitment :D It's a shame they dont have the G strings on the Geo 5, it flutters a lot when accelerated! Find it hard to believe they didnt find this during testing.. or is it "drip-feeding" one improvement at a time to release more models 🤔 anyway good to see you in the sky, I flew Mam NW recently and it was epic! perfect timing on this video!!! I too get my new Geo 6 as first wing next week!!!! Its also a small size as well, is gemma at the bottom or top range of her wing? I will be at the very top and wondering if that will restrict some soaring height i will be able to achieve? Great video again!!!
@AndreBandarra14 жыл бұрын
That's awesome news Justin. The range is 65-85kg and Gemma is probably flying at 75kg AUW with the small harness.
@inderida20004 жыл бұрын
@@AndreBandarra1 I will be around that exact range with my Wani Light 2 Harness! maybe pushing 80kg! happy flying!!!
@niconico39074 жыл бұрын
Flying high in the weight range is the best, you get more speed and a more reactive wing, so more fun. The difference in sink rate is not going to be noticeable.
@inderida20004 жыл бұрын
@@AndreBandarra1 got the new wing in today and flew it for first time!!! so much more fun than a sluggish student glider. everything in this video was spot on to what i felt!!! the weight shift turns were so easy!!! just weight shifted and glider turned 90 degree easily with hardly any brake input!!! Thanks for the great video review!!!!

Hello Why dont you do a bit more "aggressive" flying style, like 360, or little wing overs, or close to ground? On your videos, it start to look like you are doing the same flight everytime. After 15 minutes of soaring, if I can go high enough, far enough from the cliff, I do 360 and wing over. And go back to quiet soaring flight.
@AndreBandarra14 жыл бұрын
Good question Nico, I think there are many types of pilots. Some are over-confident, some are under-confident and everything in between. There is quite a lot of flying you don't see on camera but I do see where you're coming from. Gemma is more the under-confident type and I do try to push her in little bits keeping it constructive but the reality is everyone learns and explores at their own pace, and as long as you're having fun and staying safe you can do whatever you want :)
@niconico39074 жыл бұрын
@@AndreBandarra1 of course you can do whatever you want. And everyone enjoy different kind of flight. Have nice flights.
@niconico39074 жыл бұрын
Gemma will be much more confident with her new wing better suited to her weight. Being too light under a wing is not good for confidence because you have less control over it, it takes longer to react.
