I LOVE my camel colored poncho, not a lot people are wearing them, I got a lot of compliments when I wear it. People say the ponchos/capes look very sophisticated and have a little bit of a “novelty” touch to it.

Absolutely beautiful style rules for Autumn, Gemma. I appreciate the options of incorporating bright red or soft pastels into the cooler months - all black may make a good base but can be so _boring._ The images and ideas that you shared regarding wearing white in Autumn, and most especially as jeans/pants, are so stylish and easily achieved - definitely my favourite part of all the ideas that you shared. It's just so rich looking, the mix of creams with camel; or, styled with greys, it looks extra soft...! You could easily add the leopard accents to the brown takes on this style rule and snake print to the greys. I think it’s interesting that we all love videos that mention rules, even though the stylists never really mean them as such, but more like guidelines, or even, just suggestions or ideas. I’ve come to the conclusion that the word “rules” suggest an easy formula-type approach, where remembering only 4-10 or so concepts is appealing, and not overwhelming. It’s similar to “topics” or “takeaways”.💕

Great video Gemma (forgive me if I've used the wrong spelling). I don't usually have problems with styling at 57 but....I can get a bit repetitive lol as I think we all get obsessed with our favourite clothing lol 🤭....so I'm glad I watched this because I've just seen the idea of what I'll be wearing today to get off my 'hamster wheel'....I have a mid/light blue linen shirt which I'll pair with my neutral/cream cable cotton knit jumper, then my oversized camel blazer, then I might either wear mid blue straight leg turned up jeans or black 'pleather' trousers and leopard print mid block heel ankle boots and neutral beige cross body bag 🤔....you showed an outfit very similar and it was 'just me'....so thanks for inspiring me! You are simply one of the best stylists around! I love true white and I think it’s my best color, so I wear it year-round. I just wish it wasn’t so difficult to find this color, especially in the FW season, the off-whites and creams just really don’t flatter my coloring as much. I often wear a true white shirt or to to place the white near my face, while wearing the traditionally-darker colors of this season elsewhere, like in pants/skirts or blazers. I also love white or light-color pants and skirts because I have very slim hips and thighs compared to my bust, so they look good with my proportions. But they can work on anyone, and many designers say instant chic can be achieved with light bottom/dark top outfits.

Great styling tips, all in my fav colours, apart from red as it's not great with my skin tone. I adore neutrals, my camel coat, cream sweaters etc, brightened with animal print scarf or shoes and a tan tote or cross body bag. Love herringbone and tweedy checks too.
