The movie educated me that a small element in a skull included in amber, like a little needle can change everything. Discover that, needs all efforts of the private sector, the capital, the scientists, the sponsors, the machinery park of the big once’s, the reviewers, and finally the most prestigious editors of the world’ of most prestigious science journal to come together, and somebody who endured it all from a personal perspective. The honour of the name is well preserved for you Dr Peretti, Cheers.
This video documents the process of finding and discovering one of the rarest vertebrates in the planet. What started as a pastime for Dr. Peretti, became a serious and painstaking process, producing one publication that includes a detailed description that sheds some light into the paleobiology of Albanerpetontids amphibians. Amazing explanation of the behind the scenes activities by Dr. Jessie Maisano, Dr. Matt Colbert and Dr. Susan Evans. This is just one of the many projects that will be developed at the Peretti Museum Foundation.

Excellent case study from mining, high-tech measurements of the amber in the world's best research facilities, bringing together a group of palaeontologist experts, to the incredible discovery. It is shown in the video that the credit is given to the workers in the mining areas, which one often forgets. Respect for this milestone and I look forward to further exciting discoveries.

Discovering Yaksha perettii, who used a ballistic tongue first on the planet, with almost missile velocity, before the chameleons, another animal changed history in paleontology. Having a documentary showing how it happened from a personal perpective and what it takes to discoverer and to earn a name in honour, is truly fantastic and I have never seen it before.

Take passion, dedication, capital, a funktioning supply chain and a lot of luck and you may find such a rare piece. You still have to look at the piece and realise and understand what a rarity is hiding inside. Throw in worlds most renowned "Jurassoholics" and out comes a new dinosaur species that will bear your name. He did it before when discovering the new mineral Perettiite-(Y), he has done it again with Yaksha perettii, but that lizzard was outside of his field of expertise and comfort zone! Well Done Dr. Peretti!

Dr Peretti, when was the Yaksha perettii first seen by the authors of the Science article?
@gemresearch4 жыл бұрын
This amber piece was always with us and not given anywhere. As shown in the movie, It was seen in February 2019 in Austin and in September 2019 in Melbourne by 2 of the group for a short moment during the measuring time, and than it was shown to the rest of the group (not all of the authors) during the Symposium in December 2019 in Bangkok. However, we gave our GRS-PMF owned CT scan data measured at UTCT in February 2019 to some of the group and in December 2019 we gave our GRS/PMF-owned ANSTO CT-scan data also to the entire group of authors. The group was working on the Austin CT scan data before the symposium and had actually already quit progressed.These CT data were first cleaned and prepared for about 2-3 month by us in early 2019, hiring a group of assistance in the USA. We actually invited all this scientists to see the piece as an original, because it is important to see the Amber as a real piece and to check the authenticity and compare to the large collection for consistency on origin. As the sample was part of a CARNE-ATA temporary importation paper together with the entire collection for one entire year, it could not be send as a single piece during that period to anybody. I hope I answered the question.

Where is the amber containing Yaksha perettii right now and in the future?
@gemresearch4 жыл бұрын
The sample is at the Peretti Museum Foundation (PMF) in Meggen (Switzerland) at the same address of GRS headquarters. All so-called holo-type material must be stored at a secure Museum and that is PMF. A special by-law guarantees the transfer to a govermment museum in case of default. The special regulation is supervised by the Swiss Federal Office of Internal Affairs. PMF was heavily vetted for its by-laws before it passed this important achievement of being considered trustful for harboring the world's most important samples.

Dr. A. Peretti asks which one do you mean: Firstly, 00 meaning shows that this number has a connection with spirituality. Your guardian angel is leading you towards the path of establishing a great connection with God and the divine realm. Through the influence of this angel number, you will be able to strengthen the already existing relationship you have with divinity. Secondly, new beginnings are immensely associated with this angel number. Embrace your guardian angel’s message, and you will be able to start a new life with new prospects that will push you ahead greatly. Do not be afraid of new life cycles but instead forge ahead with confidence, optimism, and determination. Let go of all your baggage from the past and embrace the change that comes with new life cycles. Lastly, 00 signifies universal love and humanitarianism. The number can either represent beginnings or an end. It is your higher purpose to cater to the people around you. You will only have a good relationship with your loved ones if you extend love to all the people that you deem to care about.
