If you didn’t know, basically Chell (who you are playing as) did a lot of tests before the facility got ruined, but then she escaped after Glados tried to burn her in a fire (all aperture equipment can last in temperatures up to 4000C) but she escaped, so then she got to Glados, and ripped off cores from her, which makes her insane, and somehow. Everything got flew up into apertures parking lot, and got dragged back down into a relaxation vault. (Fun fact: this takes place 50,000 years after portal/half life 2)

I've always envied the idea of younger generation just having this huge almost unlimited library of awesome games to play at a whim. I grew up with them and wait every week/month for something new to catch my eye and these days I'm very selective as to what I like. Keep it up! Good work.

Elder Millienial here. Listening to thirty somethings realize they aren't youngsters anymore never gets old. Almost as much fun as watching Gen Xers realize they're not part of the target audience anymore. 😅 You missed a lot of backstory syarting with Portal 2 instead of Portal, but you'll pick it up as you play.

I was eleven when Portal 2 came out. That was, as you mentioned in the video, 2011. I always think of gen alpha as like, iPad kids and like, eight year olds obsessed with Skibidi Toilet and whatnot, but that just means I'm old. I turn 25 this year, and it's insane to think that a game I was super hyped for back in the day is almost fifteen years old (2026 is when the game turns fifteen). That said, would love to see you play Half-Life 1, then 2 and it's episodes, and finally Black Mesa! Also, I recommend setting OBS to record in 60FPS
