I believe the first time Tek Knight was mentioned was when Butcher took Hughie to the supe victims anonymous. One of the ladies was paralyzed and said "I'm so grateful to Tek Knight for saving me. I just wish... he'd been more gentle with my spine." He's also mentioned when Stan Edgar shuts down Homelander after Homelander wanted to be "consulted" on Stormfront's introduction to The Seven. "Now, I believe you have a premier of 'Tek Knight Lives' to attend tonight?"

You said you'd never heard of tek knight, but he was mentioned twice in the boys. Once at the collateral damage meeting, one of the survivors was in a wheelchair because of him. Also, when Edgar put homelander in his place at the beginning of season 2, he finished with 'i believe you have a premier of tek Knight lives to go to'

The tumor this is actually legit. It's not even that weird when you compare to the stuff tumors have caused people to do in real life. In real life there was this dude who had one (and the doctors didn't know about it because they didn't think to scan his head) and he was like the opposite of Tek Knight. He wasn't aroused by anyone or anything. Which isn't weird on its own, but he had a severe hormone imbalance and was in his 20's or 30's but hadn't fully gone through puberty. The weirdest part though, is that this man started producing breast milk....yeah, seriously. he was out jogging one day and thought his nipples were bleeding, but when checked himself out, it was milk. He was living like this for years. But eventually a doctor discovers the tumor and he gets it removed successfully. Then suddenly his hormones are in check, he's not producing milk anymore and he's suddenly attracted to women. he even found himself a wife and had kids. He felt emotions he hadn't felt since he was a kid. The tumor likely formed before he was even a teenager. Nature is messed up.
