These guys are some of the most talented musicians on the planet! This video is a pure masterclass. All of their songs are freaking amazing!

Nice! Lucky you! The star is so nice, discovering each and every song... I've discovered then in 2018, and I love everything about them. They are awesome musicians, and awesome people too, they're really nice to their fans. Brittney is the best, she sings like the great ones: Dio, Dickinson, Gillian, etc

@Y-ello Thier singer Brittney slayes is a classically traind mezzo soprano a 4 octave range. Their last 2 albums are concept album's that have a hole backstory to them that the singer did a track by track explaining the meaning behind each song.

IMMORTAL IS MORE THAN A NAME! AWAKENING (2017) To look up into the night's sky, to see the stars they are changed To know a thousand years or more have passed, and I am the same This mountain hollow that keeps me in a suffocating embrace A prison and a safe haven, it's always been this way Lo, a new master calls me to awakening, I know this one brings the end Far out beyond the darkness I've been living in it's true, a whole new world awaits Stellar constellations rise, lighting my way in the night Once again revitalized, to roam; to never die My path begins with the new dawn; a voice is calling my name It always starts as whispering then manifests to a scream I'm drawn to the creature that wakes me, bound to them by the curse My soul exists only to serve, a covenant of birth Fear not the task ahead there's no escaping it, there's no good nor evil here Stellar constellations rise, lighting my way in the night Once again revitalized, to roam; to never die Come to me, awakening Follow my voice, come to me Fear not the task ahead there's no escaping it, there's no good nor evil here Stellar constellations rise, lighting my way in the night Once again revitalized, to roam; to never Lighting my way in the night To roam; to never die

two other videos on KZbin regarding Britney; a phone recorded video of Britney, while pretty well sloshed, AFTER a show, singing "Queen of the Reich" in a karaoke bar in Edinburgh....next, she was on a Skype conversation with Fang Von Wildenstein of "Lords of the Trident", both drinking quite a bit of wine, decided to sing "Brindisi", the drinking song from the opera "La Traviata"

I love this group. Apex and Abyss were written by Brittney as a story intended to be listened end to end even though I have done this a few times I still have my favorite songs and the videos are always done well IMO 😊

Yes that is Brittany Slayes and that drummer is her significant other. If you want to see her true vocal range listen to Tonight We Ride by them.

Now please check out LOVEBITES - an all female band from Japan who sing in English, play their own instruments and are just as good as Unleash the Archers. Lovebites won the 2018 Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. Start with their song Judgement Day live.

An opening track from one of two very tight concept albums. And as if it couldn't get better, they're D&D nerds and stream their games on Twitch.

Love UTA. Saw them live in a small (200-300) venue in Boston back in December. Every bit as awesome live. They are a modernised version of old school power metal (Iron Maiden, Queensryche) and Brittney gives me Bruce Dickerson or Dio vibes. Apex and Abyss are awesome concept albums and tell a really epic story. Brittney has videos on Napalm Records channel that explains the story behind each song on the albums. One of my favorite performances of hers is of her singing Queen of the Reich in a karoke bar in Scotland after doing a full gig. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGmTdYWnpKysgtk.

As a gen x father who was young when heavier metal was coming.. playing in death metal bands around town. I'm sad to say that my son listens to artists like Billie Eilish. They don't know what they're missing! He's gotten better though. He likes some Metallica songs, that's a first step. And he wants to learn to play the guitar. Nice! :)

This band is really something. Britney has an incredible voice. The drummer is almost inhuman. Last I heard Britney and him were a couple. They don't have an actual bass player, but the one in this video is great. Never seen a bass player use 3 fingers and a thumb to play with before. Is that one bass part a bunch of harmonics? Both guitar players are phenomenal. Also the blonde guys growls add a great vocal element to Britney's highs.

This is the prototypical 'intro to UTA' song. Followups could include Tonight We Ride, Abyss, , Legacy, Cleanse The Bloodlines, and of course, their version of Northwest Passage (they're Canadian, eh.... it's a mandatory thing). They also completed a run through the early Euro outdoor Festivals, so there might be some live clips there, but I'd steer clear of the ones from the Alcatraz festival.... someone was incompetent or malicious on the sound board and ruined UTA and Jinjer (among others) on the big stage.... you can see the musicians fighting bad in-ear feeds, etc that's a real shame. Oh. Check out Brittany's collab with Arjen (Ayreon) on his upcoming Star One album. Have fun.

Want to see some true guitar skills? Lookup a guy by the name of Alip Ba Ta. He does renditions of mainstream songs as well as songs he wrote himself. Beware of harmonics.
