Dimash is THE voice. This song doesn't show any of his talent yet. Dimash sings in different styles (opera, neo-classic, pop, jazz, kazakh folk, rap ...) and 12+ languages. His talent for entertaining is amazing. His great concerts are legendary. The song S.O.S. from 2021 (his channel) is a good place to start. But even this song doesn't show all his range and possibilities. For many of his songs you will find subtitles (settings!).

Dimash is a phenomenon. He's been studying music since the age of 5 and both parents are singers. He's 6'3" and cuts quite an imposing figure in person. And to top it all off, he's a wonderful, caring person. Please do more Dimash. You would definitely enjoy "Stranger", which he sings in English. Greetings from Las Vegas!

Everything Diamsh sings is outstanding. Olympico, Stranger, Sinful Passion, Ave Maria, Adagio, The Show Must Go On, and SOS. Just pick a song and you will never be disappointed by Dimash. Also, there are usually English subtitles with his videos because he sings in Russian, French, Mandarin, and about 10 more languages. Even when he sings in English there are subtitles.

This was in 2017, Dimash was only 22-23 and got even better! His full range from his latest is showcased in his “El Amor En Ti”. He composed music for it and his two Mexican fans wrote the lyrics. Hope you will react more to this amazing ARTIST!

It would be better if we distinguished singing range from effect note range. Dimash´s singing range is 4.5 octaves. That is where his normal singing occurs (between C2 and F6). All the lower and higher notes are effect tones that he may throw in here and there, but he doesn't really sing there. So Stranger with its 4.5 octaves is the best example of his singing range. El amor en tí has 3.5 octaves (G2-C6), just like SOS (B2-E6); Ogni Pietra has 3.8 (G2-E6); Your Love 4 (F2-F6). Nobody actually sings in 6 or 7 octaves, unless we equate singing with producing sounds.

Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And that in all registers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 or 16 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. Sometimes he also can be a little bit goofy, and I love it❤️. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. Here he covered All By Myself, originally written by Eric Carmen in 1975. It's no Celine Dion cover. She covered it too. But I'm sure someone already commented this here.🥰. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. He performed this song on his first solo concert in Kazakhstan called Bastau in 2017. It was after he finished The Singer competition. He worked so hard for this terrific concert. I was scared at first when I saw him. He was so terribly thin but I love this performance. *******Wrong song choice for a first time Dimash reaction******** Don't get me wrong, he always sounds amazing, but this song doesn't even scratch the surface. "SOS" is his calling card, and is the best first song to listen/watch. You haven't seen/heard anything yet. Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He is a twenty-nine year old multi-faceted artist with a soul of a thousand years, who hails from Kazakhstan. He sings in 16 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble and kind man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "SOS", 2021, "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Stranger" 2021,"Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) KZbin channel, "Adagio" from The Singer 2017, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021 at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for one of his most recent songs and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. Thank you so much for bringing Dimash to your channel! There is no one song that showcases Dimash's entire range (no one knows exactly what it is as time goes by anyway) because songs just aren't composed for this kind of exceedingly rare vocal talent. So Dimash had to do it himself: See The Story of One Sky, live in Almaty and in Dimash's epic mini-film.Also his first song in Spanish, El Amor En Ti showcases his range in a unique and amazing way. Dimash tends to downplay his range in favor of transmitting the meaning and emotions of the song to his audiences around the world. Also, composer Igor Krutoy has written Olympico, Stranger (New Wave) and Passione just for Dimash. Those would be my suggestions. If you would like an example of Dimash's beautiful voice using little variation in octaves, you could select the music video for Okay, a period piece set in Stalinist Russia. Hope this helps introduce you to the greatest vocalist of our time!

The song where he sings in the largest vocal range is Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance duet with Li Yugang at the Shanghi Spring festival. DO NOT REACT TO ANY VIDEOS FROM THE WORLD'S BEST CONTEST.The videos are badly chopped up and Dimash was treated badly and lied to at this show. This is a fan sorespot so it will be boycotted, therefore wasting everybodies time. Celine wishes she could sing as well as Dimash, I am sure🤣😂🤣 My favorite version of this is from the New York Concert. This is generally a "horseing around" song for Dimash at Concerts. I am happy that you have finally investigated Dimash, although I consider this song and performance to be far less stellar than the bulk of his others. Dimash sings in every genre known to man----everything from opera to rap. One minute he's Pavarotti, the next he's Freddie Mercury or Michael Jackson. You will get a much better idea of his range, his talent and his creativity with others of his songs and performances. As an aside, although Celine Dion certainly did a respectable cover version of her own, "All By Myself" is an Eric Carmen cover.

I'd like to clarify that this is not a Celine Dion song; hence, it is not a cover of "her" song. The song was originally written and recorded by Eric Carmen in 1975, becoming a number two hit for him. Both Celine Dion's and Dimash's versions are covers of Eric Carmen's original song. It is important to give credit where credit is due.

Not to be that guy but All By Myself is a song from the 70s by Eric Carmen. It was a big hit. Years later Celine Dion would do the cover for it which is obviously more known for the younger generation, but the original song also was a huge hit. But as expected Dimash knocks it put of the park. Especially this live version.

DIMASH is currently working on a song for JACKIE CHAN'S 🎬 movie- according to the DEARS' grapevine! (JC, MJ, Lara Fabian & Andrea Bocelli are among his heroes.) He has worked w Lara, sung w Bocelli (backstage) and is thrilled beyond beyond to work w Jackie. He has done a tribute to MJ. His fav band is QUEEN and has covered a couple of Freddie's songs.

FYI. The original singer of this song is Eric Carmen 1975. IMO Celine did an ok cover, but Dimash hit it out of the ballpark. Good reaction. PLEASE dont react to any Dimash from the "WORLDS BEST" show. He was lied to by the producers and disrespected by the American judgrs.

Please wait for the story of one sky until you have listen a bunch of Dimash songs. Also hard listeners of Dimash were shocked about this. I would recommend first the MV and than the Almaty concert. It is an important massage behind so you have to listen to the MV a multiple time. He composed and wrote the script by himself over 3 years. He is now a leading figure for peace. As for a song showcasing his all range, I'm not a "Dear", nor a Dimash expert. But... he sings the Aria of the Fifth Element (1997) by Eric Serra that was composed in a way that NO human singer could possibly sing it all : it involved a proper female opera singer ( Inva Mulla) , some computer generated parts for the top high notes, and Eric Serra's own male voice for the lowest ones . It's called "Diva Song" . I actually have a soft spot for "Sinful Passion".
