Hey from what I’ve seen your generation (excluding the tik tok as a personality kids) is pretty great. I’m a millennial and I can tell you, the older generations might not have Internet proof like ours do but- we all did cringey things as teenagers, your generation will grow up/out of it too, then Gen alpha will be doing some stupid crap like wearing necklaces made from plastic straws and acting like beaches whales for tik tok or something equally weird and useless and everyone will cringe at them and the cycle will continue lol

Sending love to gen z. I had the privilege of tutoring a bunch of you, and I'm really proud of guys. And I'm excited to see where you go from here. I'm 30 so hopefully after the pandemic I'll be able to help more of you guys (how I tutor is very effective, but hard to do online). Don't let the bullshit that is life hold you back.
@Colby_Rosela2 жыл бұрын
Nice to see one comment not bashing us. I think each new generation improves on the last and each generation may have flaws but that's natural. I think overall gen z is trying to make the world a better place by making people feel more equal, caring about the environment, and trying to help the less fortunate, etc.
@darkermatter125.352 жыл бұрын
@@Colby_Rosela as a tutor, i have also acted as a therapist for gen z kids (kids at the time). Because I'm a millennial, and I am very understanding, and have been through a shit ton of trauma, they feel comfortable opening up to me about a lot of things they wouldn't tell their parents. It helped me see into how their mind worked, and how they viewed the world. One even helped me adjust the way i view people, because they were at a school that was very supportive of LGBTQ students. Even though i am bi, aro, and poly, their approach to how they viewed strangers was more helpful and healthier than the heteronormative approach. They said that they always assume that someone they didn't know was bi/pan. And if they turned out to be something else, that just eliminated a group of people they were attracted to, vs navigating things to find out who is part of the LGBTQ community. With that mindset, even straight people are essentially coming out, instead of reinforcing the default of heterosexuality. Which i feel is a lot healthier. She had her own issues with self harm, and was struggling with her own demons. But for a few sessions of tutoring, i wore things that showed my more obvious scars. We were able to talk about it openly, and i was able to help her cope and understand things that caused her to feel that way. It was an honor to help gen z students, and be a part of shaping the future, in a way. Those experiences made me see the potential that your generation has, and also the responsibility that millennials have to fight as much as we can to help all of you to change the world
