You just went on about his Christopher Reeve song and how he still wrote it.... he wrote it back in like 2004 and didn't put it on the album at that point because Reeve died.... He also flat out says that in Guilty Conscience 2. Also he's referencing that Slim is not Marshal, it's like his alter ego that he's written songs with that disturbed side of him. They discover the songs written with the alter ego and then cancel him. Also, I want to note the comment about ozempic with side effects of jealousy, is a stab at someone (can't remember who, think drake?) and the crying thing was a joke about Benzino.

I don't care what generation you are. But instead of going simply with "oh, it's cringe", maybe look deeper? Cause right now, you're just on the surface. Eminem rarely writes something without meaning. If you prefer to leave it as it is and not fall into the rabbit hole, fine... But know that you are missing out on a great artist because you choose to limit yourself. By what you heard about him beforehand? By you own biases? I don't know your story. What I know is that I prefer putting my own experiences aside to really listen, and so far, I have not been disappointed.

I genuinely have a lot of love for Em, and that’s why I judge him so harshly. I believe he’s capable of doing incredible work, and I think he’s just fallen short as of late. I’m familiar with slim shady, I just find him beating the dead horse more cringe than funny. Honestly though, my opinion on Eminem forever changed when he said anyone who pirates his songs isn’t a real fan. I was a very poor kid, no extra money for an album, so yeah I pirated his music. When I was 12 I took that very personally lol. I just think he’s lost touch with reality. Hope this helps understand my perspective better

I’ve been a fan of Eminem since I was like 5 years old, I definitely have listened to his other albums, pretty much all of them are better than this one. Am I trying to get attention? Yes absolutely that’s why I posted this online, it’s definitely fun to share my opinion and have it tested by others. There’s a lot of videos on why Eminem is the top rapper btw and it’s not because he’s so much better than everyone, it’s accessibility. Eminem is white and decent, not hard to digest most of the time either. His whiteness plays a huge role in his popularity and if you can’t see that then you’re probably white too. That’s not a diss, I’m white, it’s perfectly fine, but it’s important to recognize in a mostly black medium.

He explains that in this interview: “Jimmy (Iovine) and (Dr.) Dre brought me here from the past to save your career”. The whole message is “DON’T ASK ME FOR SLIM SHADY CUZ I’M OLD AND I’M AT THE TOP OF THE GAME”. But yeah, he jokes a lot about being old also because he’s against the idea of legends quitting Rap because of their age. He convinced Fat Joe and LL Cool J to drop new music.
