I'm glad you did upload this one, this one of the songs I feel people are looking for reactions for cause it was a bit unexpected after all the laughing and everything else from the track before. It's also a song anyone can relate too so it hits most of us. Having a kid just means you can hear the song from another perspective of Em and/or saying something like this to your kid but we all have parents and/or people who love/took care of us so can view it from the perspective of Hailie and your parent/loved one dying who you were close too saying this kind of stuff to you.

Karen it’s ok to cry. I’ve been crying since the album came out in July. See my father passed away I few months ago in May to cancer. My emotions have been all over and one thing I just couldn’t was cry. When I heard this I had to pullover because it made me cry all those tears and emotions that I’ve been holding back. I miss my dad everyday and since I hear this song I think about him even more. I cry everytime I hear this song and I am ok with that.

The beginning hits me hard when she says she's the monster, my dad gave me the nickname donster the monster...he died in my arms in 2012... could add a lot more but yeah can't listen without crying, plus I reached out to him while in prison, became best friends etc, but still have the letters from when in prison, basically written form of this song....shit hits hard AF, he knew was on way out, stage 4 cancer in basically every organ, doctors stopped even looking after like 3, asked me if would go to heaven, I found God recently before which why reached out, hated him before... for most part, just resentment etc but yeah, which have his ashes in my arm in a tatt, was illegal but my artist did for me
