Trick Trick & EM go way back. Proof, R.I.P. actually introduced EM to Trick in the 90's. EM put up $250,000 for bail for Trick when he was facing his murder case. Gave him this song and let him keep all the profit so he could get on his feet. DETROIT FOR LIFE!!!!!

Em's hype man deserves a huge shoutout! Guy was on point every second of this. His singing, his stage presence, his stage LOCATION!! Knew when to be up front and when to fall back, who to back up and when. It was a real masterclass

He really does! That’s Denaun Porter, sometimes called Mr Porter. He was in D12 with Eminem way back in the ‘90’s (had the alter ego Kon Artis). He’s been Em’s hype man since Proof’s death. So he and Em go way back. He’s also a producer with quite a few credits under his belt. On a more random side note, I’ve even spotted him with Em at Detroit Lions games. 😂

Eminem produced the show , He had the #1 Detroit techno DJ vibing mixed in with the Orchestra and choir, that's why the sound is so full! Trick Trick was a gangbanger Who instituted the no fly zone, Em taught him to rap and perform, his words not mine, Trick Trick never considered doing rap until he was around Em Trick Trick has Ems back 100%, the no fly zone was to make every artist who went to perform in Detroit to check in and spend some money in Detroit and dip not giving back to Detroit, If you didn't check in Detroit crews would bum rush shows and shut them down if you go back to not a like Em says don't make call trick Trick this shit don't fly in our city is a reference to that. Trick Trick is the O.G now considered the unofficial Mayor that different crews go to to mediate and shit. Stay Blessed 👊🏼

Definitely check out some Jelly Roll. He used to rap and switched to country. “Hate Goes on” for his rapping, “Save me” or Son of sinner for his singing. Overall great person.

Yous don't come to Detroit to perform without Trick Trick permission. Don't matter how big of an artist you are. You may be physically different leaving. Ask Rick Ross about the no fly zone. You see benzino snuck into Detroit while everyone was in Cali when he went to Em's restaurant.

Trick Trick rapped in a group from the 90s called Goon Squad but he didn't just rap he ran ish in the streets. He has kicked big rappers out of Detroit and for a while was the king of no fly zones and checking in. Also good friends with Em but you saw the story of the song in the comments. They been close for years. He was friends with Proof. Jelly Roll from the streets in and out of jail selling drugs started rapping (was good) then older Jelly moved to country talking a new story. Still great you should look through his catalog. He's from Tennessee though but friends wit Yellowolf and think he's wife met Em back in the day.

Man well let's just hope that Em doesn't die this yr. Bruh he'd have 5 out of the 8 billion ppl on the globe in mourning including myself. Dude is Michael jackson status. I always thought it was ridiculous to mourn a famous person's death unless you know them personally. But Ems music is so revealing and personal that one could feel like they know him and that is why he is probably the only famous persons death I would mourn over. That and I grew up listening to him I'm almost 31 I was introduc3d to him at 7 yrs old and I never looked back.
