I actually saw Elvis in that same showroom at the Las Vegas Hilton except in August 1974, I saw a dinner show and a midnight show. I was 16 at the time. I’m 66 now. Thank you so much for your reactions.

I love it from the beautiful Elvis, who does love songs anymore. He could really do them and give you chills. I hope you will react to some movie scenes like, "Mean Woman Blues" from LOVING YOU. and anything from Jailhouse Rock. Some others are "A Little Less Conversation" from LIVE A LITTLE, LOVE A LITTLE. They've done it! They've re-shown the Elvis, This Is It concert at theaters on special anniversaries, usually for a limited time only. They have also have done live concert tours with all the original band members and back up singers who were still alive playing and singing backup live on stage with Elvis performing on the big screen above them. It was a highly successful sold out tour, if I remember correctly. I think they recently did another tour again in the U.K. and across Europe. Not sure if they toured in the U.S. or not. But as far showing his concerts at the theaters, I'm sure they'll do that again. I want to say they did it with the '68 Comeback Special but I'm not sure. I never heard about his movies being at the theater until it was too late. But i bet you can check the Graceland website for upcoming events before important anniversaries.

I'm just wondering if you are referring to the story about the man w-the toupee is why Elvis was laughing. If so, the real reason was written about in Charlie Hodge's book w-the explanation of what really happened & that bald headed man is fiction started by someone -- but everyone believes it.

I've never been a huge fan of this song. It's fine. This is not the best version of the song. His vocal is weak. The February 1970 version is the best. Still worth watching.
