I saw Napalm Death in Buffalo, Ny with Godflesh in 1991. We got there early and met the band in the parking lot. It was a few hours before the show and they were geeking out building a rocket that they were super excited to launch. Excellent bunch of guys and there was a leg break during the show. I’m sure they would absolutely remember it.

Barney's one of those vocalists that just gets utterly possessed by the music when he performs live, just throwing his body around without caring what it looks like. Totally electrifying to watch, as well as listen to.

maybe D.R.I. ? They mixed Hardcore Punk with Thrash Metal and started the whole Crossover trend ....

Extreme Noize Terror is a good one. Holocaust in Your Head is very similar. But i love the newer version of the song Raping the Earth.

Playing one song from each album would be a great journey! Or making a reaction to all the albums is better, cause it is a very underrated band and so many things in their music and lyrics!!!...

Done any doom? Dopethrone came out in 2000, so just outside the BY (before Yasmin) era, so you could spin Funeralopolis, or Return Trip from 1997.

The version of Scum with Barney on vocals. 🤌
@MarcusAsenlundАй бұрын
There is no version with Barney on SCUM, maybe in later live songs but in the original recording the only singers were co founder "Nicolas Bullen" on side A and Lee Dorrian on side B. Barney joined in 1990s while Scum and FETO was in 1987/1988.
@ericlautenschlager6714Ай бұрын
@MarcusAsenlund I'm well aware of the band history and lineup. The live version, filmed during the Live Corruption in 1990 is by far, in my opinion, the better version. I am fond of Lee Dorians version as well.

"WOOOOW" , she sounds sooo (NOT) thriled ! 😂 "...some of their fans scare me "😂😂😂😂. Good 👍. In this world only the strong survive, the rest can listen to their EMO CORE METALS 😂 ! Not just Barney who kept this band together all this years, ok ? It s also SHANE EMBURY, the bassist from side B of Scum !!! Even searching on Wiki and you 2 still can t get the correct info. 😂 Bravo 👏 Proud to have seen them 15 times, from 2007 till present , I own all their studio and live albums on cds and dvds plus a boxset , I also have 5 tshirts with them, 3 hoodies bought from their merch stand from their live shows ,including a SCUM HOODIE mailed ordered from EARACHE RECORDS, from back in the early 2000s , I also claim Shane Embury 's book, 3 bass picks from Shane and 2 guitar picks from Mitch and 1 from Johnny and 5 playlist from different live shows ! RIP JESSE PINTADO 😢 ! So, if she calls them "NPALM DEATH" ,I'm gonna call her "ASMINE" 😂 seems fair. "Asmine" is actually JUDGING A BOOK BY IT S COVER, typical gen Z ..... 😂 Your "CORE SONGS " METAL/DEATH CORE SONGS can t even be compared to NAPALM DEATH, who are, THE ORIGINATORS , THE GODFATHERS , THE INVENTORS OF GRINDCORE !!!!! With out them ,there wouldn't be EXTREME MUSIC, do your full research , do you also know that BIRMINGHAM is the birth place of HEAVY METAL ????😂 BLACK SABBATH ,JUDAS PRIEST ???? UNFORTUNETLY, TODAY , BIRMIGHAM LOOKS LIKE MORE OF A CITY FROM MIDDLE EST WITH 30% OVER THE LIMIT AND RISING ........... "UWOU ,UWUOAOWOUAAU " , while doing the DEVIL' S HORNS WHILE LICKING THE TIP OF HER FINGERS AND TRYING TO FIX HER EYEBROWS (GOTCHA "ASMINE" ;) ) AT THE SAME TIME 😂😂😂😂 YEAH (RIGHT) , I bet she likes them 😂 for likes, maybe.... 😂.... (that s the same reaction, one my my ex had, when she sow them live and I took her to seem them and she hated them, because she is limited to WIMPY CORE BANDS ) 😂 Pffff ...."ASMINE", has no Scooby Doo 😅 .... "Asmine" try listening to JIG AI, SPASM, GUTALAX 😂😂😂, I DARE YOU !!! These bands are known as PORNO GRIND CORE and they are all from Chech Republic ,but the category breeded originally from the early 90's from Germany and USA ;)
