One thing I noticed was the pitch of the engine late in high gear, it sounded like it was short on fuel. The sound is very clear on the videoI have extra fuel pumps, huge volume.

Process of elimination between Bill and jeffafafa you'll get it lined out and when it's running correctly (correct valve springs and fuel pump) you'll know how it's supposed to sound and pull down the track. Then you'll be able to give all the feedback needed for Bill and Jeff to tune it! Your doing amazing Miss Allison and Tommy is also in supporting you!

People often say they wish there pets could talk dog etc but watching that in cab view staging I couldn't help thinking old-school cool interior street car if only it could tell it's past stories throughout its life,you could could just sense the years with full view of rear interior,door trims,dash those wicked quarter panels & glass.... Imagine the old boys cruisen it young,children conceived,beers flowing music the sound of its original V8 brand new while in back seat endless thoughts or in my case memories in a different coupe many years ago cruise round day n night when petrol was cheap.Theres so much to enjoy with your videos congrats on all content quality second to none👍

Learning is what drag racing is all about! I agree with Bill the seat of the pants doesn't always show on the time slip. But remember no spray and a car that can be drove 20 miles that runs 12.50s is atill good. That's no spray all motor and relative small cubic inch motor. Be proud .. Alison your smile after the first 1250 pass said it all. You have to be a drag racer to truly know what that smile is all about.it doesn't matter how fast you go you are always looking for a way to go faster!!! Great video ty for sharing !!!

Upgrades are a fantastic thing, Especially when they do what they are supposed to do. Swap out those valve springs (That it self will be a learning experience) Adding a bigger fuel pump never hurts, You can always adjust it down with the regulator. Hopefully this weather holds out for you threw the end of the month. And you get some solid info going into the lay up this winter. You guys will be coming out of the gate swinging for the fences next spring (Late March) with this car.

Love The Dodge Dart Guys!!! I owned many 60’s & 70’s MOPAR Muscle cars back in my street racing days in 70’s & 80’s! Those 340’s can be stout MOPAR small blocks I love ❤️ me some MOPAR & Chevys!!!! Getting more seat time and you'll learn what it needs with your Dad and Bill teaching you. Looks great, definitely needs a better fuel pump. Far too many people change cam and lifters and don't touch the valve springs. Go fast and be safe.
