Hey MMT. Love the content. Here is my take for whatever it's worth. In my opinion, the things to focus on are cup, side pressure and raw power. Genadi has shown in past matches with Levan that he can win without his wrist. Even if you can toproll him, he might be able to get wedges in the win on shear determination. His cup was so dominant last time and I think that played a big roll. So if you can match him there and then over power him, I think that's the key. Cup, side pressure, and power compound movements on the gym, particularly bis, tris, and back.

I would work in a contingency plan, something that could catch Genadi offguard. Maybe work more on your flash press, maybe in a different variation. I feel your press could be deadlier if you trained it more often and it has been quiet effective whenever you bring your opponents on deep water. Id work my pronation as much as I could and secretly work on my press even more. Tire him up/kingsmove him to exhaustion and finish him in later rounds with the flash press like you did with Todd and Lamparelli

Train your pronation, wrist flexion, and riser with your elbow inside your shoulder so you can toproll/high hook without getting out of your shoulder. I believe your wrist is stronger, it's a matter of not allowing Genadi to engage his shoulder, cut that angle off and he will only have his bicep. That's only if your shoulders are feeling healthy.

My prediction: you will beat Genadi as long as you don't go single lane: king's move. If you have a strong cup and back pressure to stop his side pressure surges, it's fine. If your pronation is stronger than his cup, it's fine. If he flop presses you, then you need to start faster than him and turn his hand palm up. In any case you also need a strong riser. What if Genadi hooks you?....I really do not believe that his supination is so strong. You'll be fine, Michael. Keep hitting those PRs

Hey Monster, You lifts are great, but Genadi is a whole other level from Lars, Frank Lamparelli and even Kamil. I'm wondering if Devon's old approach of getting tons of table time with tons of people - especially with some big boys like Jerry - might have been the way to go. I know you got Corey and Lars came to visit. It's just those Georgians are so crazy strong.

Jerry is an absolute animal. The Genadi match was extremely ugly though. Genadi flew off the back of the pad about 30 times and Jerry off the front about 20 times. I don't feel like Jerry was at his best when Devon beat him. Either that or he underestimated Devon because there was a 75 pound weight difference. I feel like that's the only time I've seen Jerry get bled out but his match with Michael was another ugly one. I'm not sure there's enough gear on the planet for him to beat the walking pharmacy Levan though.

Honestly, genadi did NOT Beat Devon,... the REFS Did! ; that was prob. the "worst" called match i ever saw in my life! ; Rly believe A.W. Needs better I.Replay rules & arbitration when bad calls screw up a match! may not happen 'too' often, but sometimes i think refs have a "personal" problem against pullers like devon or travis,. who tend to have BIG personality & KNOW the sport better than the refs do! ; 2023 Devon would have crushed genadi & that should give YOU Faith, bcuz its the Hand,.. Pronation,.. & Kings move that will wear him out & open up the press, after he's tired! ;
