Where are you from? Is it humid where you live? I know I covered a LOT of ingredients and tips in this video, but no need to take notes or screenshots because I summed it ALL up over on my blog: genamarie.co/2020/06/frizz-free-curls-in-humidity-ingredients-to-avoid-to-use/

I struggle a lot with frizz and in my crown area my curls are always frizzy and look toasted 😔 I recently have seen diffusing and leavins are good for that so I will begin to save up so hopefully I can soon start taking more care of my curls. Thanks so much this was very informative 💗💗💗💗

I have to tell you how much I appreciate you discussing how certain ingredients can affect hair in dry climates, like they can affect hair in humid climates. So many influencers talk about the affects of humidity on hair, but not dry climates on hair. Living in a dry climate, I can never find advice on dealing with curly hair in my climate, UNTIL NOW! Thank you so much! Finally, some useful information for dealing with frizz, my number one hair challenge, in my climate! ❤️

Thank you soooo much for this video! This sciencey stuff is phew! 😅 I’ve never really understood why my hair can look great when I style indoors and the minute I go out it reacts and turns to frizzy poop! 💩🤣 By the end of the day nothing works... but then if I put it in a pineapple to sleep the next morning it looks better?! Then as soon as I go out/move around it looses definition and frizzes... and endless cycle of fighting with my hair! 😬 Plus I live in the UK where we can literally experience all the seasons in one week! 🥴 Better study your blog...! Thank you! You are a curly girl guardian angel 😇❤️

So glad that you mentioned film forming humectants. They are the only thing that works on my fine low porosity hair in the very low dew point climate i live in. I especially like flax, aloe and the celluloses.

The as I am leave-in conditionner and their jelly are really good for humid climates because of their ingredients and I think they are quite accessible in Europe, at least in France and in Luxembourg. I honestly have only tried their leave-in, I will have to try their jelly as well

My hair is quite sensitive to glycerine, but I'm currently having fairly good success with the Giovanni strong hold gel. I use a lot of the Jessiecurl products, but the spiralicious wasn't giving me either a cast or any hold, so I'm using the giovanni on top for more hold. It is working fairly well. I struggle to use a lot of highly scented products due to sensitivity/eczema, but just using the scented gel seems to be ok. The no added fragrance line from Jessiecurl doesn't irritate my scalp/skin and I love the conditioner and deep conditioner for slip. I mix the coil cream and rockin ringlets for definition and seal in with the gels for hair I can refresh for up to seven days. I have long thick hair which is very hot to leave down in Summer so I use scrunchies, clips etc etc for pretty updos most of the time. The hemi squalane from the ordinary works well as a sealing oil and is very affordable. Best wishes.

For anti humidity I love the Jessicurl Gel. From Bouncecurl I love the Clump & Define Cream. I didnt like their Gel..I think maybe too much protein. The Curlsmith Scalp Detox Line is also so great and also their Cowash, the Oil in Cream& the Soufflé

I experienced flash drying with Innersense I Create Hold. Innersense products are loaded with glycerin, honey and sugar based humectants. Not the best to use in a high humidity environment. I was so disappointed :( Now I’m eyeing the Camille Rose coconut water leave in and Jessi Curls gel. The ingredients look promising. Just a little difficult to get your hands on them when you live in a third world country. 😭

Any video you think is too fast you can slow the speed down. I know I am commenting months later, but if you see this maybe it will be helpful. For example, I follow a ladies Bible teacher who originally grew up in a northern state where people speak quickly. I slow down her videos to 1.25 speed just to absorb what she’s saying.
