Knew something was up when Hal never put the DZ name in front of his name. The fact that he announced his joining of Zero and Genburten didn't have "Joining Dark Zero" it was joining the specific players. Happy for them to be able to grab the bag with incentives, but at least this is more solid unlike the FTX situation. Its big OIL money. Pressure is on for the boys now but seeing how they performed (other than Hal) last split, it seems super promising.

@@crypticfallacy4924 well only in fights he was doing good but his igling was the worst in his whole career his rotations pathing was just bad (+bad luck circles especially storm point plus the other teams contesting them on poi) he was very indecisive in many fights (+ evan and reps out of shape of course) wich created such a disasterous performance mostly he was thinking of not re signing weeks ago and they went into lan without fixing their problems, it was clear for all of us who watch tsm daily that they have a big problem with team composition, putting evan on caustic dint work and made him usless (evan may be the best one vs 1 player in all the world and he had to sit back and support ) hal should have putt him on bloodhound way early not try it last 3 days and it was his turn to try to change for the team but he found himself comfortable playing bloodhound and didnt want to change or risk trying anotehr champ

They are getting paid so much, for reference Native Gaming paid Clane $4000 a month salary. Anything under $15000 a month would be small, Hal is probs earning like $50000 minimum. The Saudi orgs have so much money to spend so they don't mind overpaying.

They pay traditional athletes faaaaaarr above market value because the whole point of all of this is to change their international image. Is it? He's said it for a long time now that he never wanted to be IGL in the first place, he just never trusted anyone to do better but zero or sweet. Prior to Verhulst, he was trying to get Gen on the team but Gen either had visa issues or didn't want to leave Australia at the time. He now doesn't have to IGL and can play with Gen, win-win. Not sure how him being the winningest player in apex history and joining another good team is bejng a sellout. If he's selling out for the money, he's obviously earned it. Not really sure why you're butthurt about it.
