It's a silly question because unless the person making the cake is colorblind, they would have been the ones to put in the pink m&ms. The parents didn't know, and I think the poor, exhausted mom should get a pass for asking such a ridiculous question because she's got enough to think about.

I always wanted a daughter even though many people in my country prefer sons, to the point that gender reveal is illegal here. So I didn't know until my son was born. Doesn't really matter now. People like a mix or a balance of genders in their kids but finally parents love all their kids the same.

When I married my husband, he was a single father with 3 boys. I myself was a single mother with 4 boys. A year after we married we welcomed the 8th boy😊 Now the boys have 3 younger sisters. @@plucas9324 I truly believe that God has blessed me with my children...even the ones who are not biologically mine. Unfortunately, many “parents” discard the blessings they are given. Yes, we as living human beings sometimes have the ability to adopt. Although, unfortunately there are lots of financial and legal hoops to jump through. However, just because other people make wrong decisions with their blessings does NOT mean that I will be blocking mine. My children are given to me and I have been trusted by God to care for them. I take that very seriously and am very grateful for this gift. Society tells us that we should use birth control to prevent our own pregnancy because other people are too irresponsible to care for their own children. Society is WRONG! It’s time for people to stop listening to society and turn to God. I have had several children in my home who I have cared for as my own, and there may be others who come along in the future. P.S. you are GREATLY underestimating the number of children who are in need. I am very fortunate that mine do not lack anything. We are not rich, but we have lots of love to give.😊

Adoption is often NOT an expensive, drawn out, annoying process--if you do not insist on a Caucasian infant or very young toddler. I have 7 siblings (all adopted) and we have 6 biological children and 12 adopted kids (so far) among us. All the kids were over 4 at adoption, and none of my siblings had ANY fees or payments to adopt them beyond a small application fee--which was refunded at finalization of adoption in some cases. BTW, children come from biological processes, not from your imaginary friend.

My dad had a son from a previous marriage and when my mom and dad found out they were expecting, they had no idea they were getting not one but two additions😊 the day they found out they were expecting twins was hilarious. My dad was at work at the time and Mom called him. She asked if he was sitting down and then she told him. They thought we were both boys, then were told one was a girl. Nope! Two girls!😊😂
