These top female athletes running the 4x400 mixed relay just run slower than male athletes because the heteropatriarchy told them to be nice

There was a study comparing phisical performance in equal training condition and surprisingly, the difference is even bigger among "couch potatos". If you take a man and a woman of similar age, similar training, BMI... The man would beat the woman by a much bigger margin than the fit man would beat the woman. I FxxCKING LOVE SCIENCE

@@HeadandShouldersATR there is so much data you can play with out there... And the "good" thing is media is afraid of talking about it so it's very fresh. There is also a study from Duke which shows the number of teenage runners in US who beat the female WR per year. And also something very conteoversial is the fact many fenale world records got stuck in the 70s when East Germany used extreme drug enhancement drugs. And finally if for some odd reason you want to attract feminists you can talk about the only discipline females seem to be able to defeat males: long distance walking. Anyway some ideas. The fastest female sprinter in the world, Allyson Felix, has a lifetime best of 49.26 seconds in the 400 meter run. Based on 2018 data, nearly 300 high school boys in the US alone could beat that time. Given such biological disparity, any form of physical competition between males and females is demonstrably unfair.

To qualify to compete in the male javelin-throw at the Olympics, a man must throw the javelin 83.5 meters. _That's just to compete in the Olympics._ The best female javelin throw ever recorded was 72.28 meters. - The best female javelin throw ever recorded isn't even good enough to compete with the shittiest male Olympic javelin thrower. - She got a Gold medal and a world record ... that dude didn't even make bronze, and he threw better than that. - There's no way that this is a real question; the topic only persists because a certain segment of the population is waging a war against reality. They don't want to be crazy, and their "logic", is that if you agree with them, then it's true. But that's not how truth works.

@@__eee__ Well I have a long answer for this haha. Look at the divorce rates in Europe. You will notice that it is incredibly low here compared to the other countries (I am from Bosnia). I like to believe that it's because both partners know exactly what role they serve in that relationship. From young age, girls are taught that no matter how good job they get, family always comes first and they won't get away from cleaning or cooking or such. Boys are taught to ''man up'', be the head of the family, earn more money etc. Growing up with a brother, a could witness this firsthand. So I don't think feminism is a lot widespread here, especially not among the older population (though times are changing). I'm not really sure about my generation (I'm 15). I think most females my age would admit that they are weaker PHYSICALLY than their male counterparts, because, for instance, the only time we get treated differently in school is during P.E. classes. Aka females run 800m and males 1000m. However, I don't think anyone would say anything about intelligence, since females usually do better in school and compete more often than males. Wow you've made it to the end haha. I hope I answered your question well. If I may ask, why are you interested?

This is referring to biological sex, which is science and not a construct. Gender is an entirely different thing, which is by definition and undisputedly a social construct. Gender is only how society views biological females and males- for example, they say women like pink. That is obviously not backed by science, and is just something society imposes on women. That is entirely different from this video- the biological makeup of males and females is different, and enables men to run faster. GENDER, not biological sex, is a social construct.

The only thing this video proved is that males and females are different in terms of sex, which is a fact that quite literally no one will dispute. At no point does this video even begin to come close to addressing anything related to gender. Gender is objectively a social construct and is dealt with in the field of sociology. Sex has to do with chromosomes and is dealt with in biology. This is not difficult.

Still is fast for female, but against men when physicality is more the deciding factor by far than skill...well women are possibly below the average guy. If your using the average of all men it still isn't 5%, and women are also obese as well so. If you realize men are 20-30% stronger in the lower body, you might understand why 5% will probably never happen. To add to this, alot of track kids can run this(males specifically, while females can not).

I got doubts on that one... If she was actually top in the country then I doubt most of the boys could beat her in a cross country race. Maybe sprinting because that requires fast-twitch muscles and is less needed in a 5k when compared to slow-twitch muscles. But if they were racing a 5K against one of the fastest girls in the country? I seriously doubt that most of the boys would beat her. If you were to use this past XC season for example (where many athletes didn't get to compete) the fastest 5k was a 15:58. That's a little faster than a 5:10 mile pace for more than 3 miles. The reason why women are smaller in size and have a higher percentage of body fat than muscle mass, is because being smaller and having more body fat is more beneficial during long starvation periods when food is scarce, and is essential to increase a woman's chance for reproduction. While for men being strong enough to fight of their competition was more important for reproduction. Also the reason women have better hearing, eye sight and are more cautious and "timid",is because it was their job to watch out for danger, while it was the men's job to mindlessly run into a fight and protect the rest of the tribe. Which makes women better snipers, and men better front-liners. If men and women were the same, there would be too much of one thing.

Its a mixed relay race. Each team has 2 athletes of each gender but the order they go is defined by the teams, being so it happens that women go against men sometimes but in reality they aren't competing directly since what counts is the sum of all 4 athletes time in the end. I suppose the women going against the men are prepared to be overtaken (unless the team has a woman closing the race, then she really does not want to get overtaken).

The mixed relay has 2 men and 2 women on each team the general consensus is usually Woman Man Woman Man, the last runner must always be the fastest runner in the team (this is just what's done for a long time). However, in this relay what they did was Man Man Woman Woman they were intending to give the last woman a headstart to essentially win the game as a woman (because Men were always last). From this video safe to say that they found out why the last runner must be the fastest.

Because they also train as hard as men and top women athletes have achieved same as men within themselves. If you reward them equally (as they do in those events), is it that unfair to compare performance? I mean I get it's not fair to compare a 60 year old runner in the masters category to professional runners. 60 year old runners train very hard to, they give everything in the track but... We barely pay attention to them since we only care about the top overall runners. So then please explain to me why should I cheer a person (woman) who wouldn't make it in the top 50 male runners but in the female category is the fastests so she gets the same reward as Usain Bolt? @@MrRavirockz She once claimed that she can take on and win against any male tennis player around world rank 200. Braasch, then ranked 203rd, challenged them both. He first took on Serena and after leading 5-0, beat her 6-1. Venus then walked on court and again Braasch was victorious, this time winning 6-2. Braasch said afterwards, "500 and above, no chance". the big difference was that men can chase down shots much easier and put spin on the ball that female players can't handle. So there is no doubt that ellite female players can't even compete with under 17 boys in a lot of sports simply because they are no match physically and hence at a disadvantage to begin with. That's why I said it's fair to assess their talents among themselves is the better way to go.

Even if she gave an explanation to your uncle, she might not have told the truth if the attitude of your uncle and fellow workers was that it was somehow shameful to have other priorities like they seemed to from your short description. I think your explanation of the phenomena is a bit weak, but it gets at the issue here. Gender in modern science is not a biological phenomena at all, but a purely psychological. It describes internal thought processes and feelings that has no relevance on physical performance. *Sex on the other hand* is a biological descriptor that does indeed concern physical performance, and while modern science still doesn't believe that sex is a binary, but rather a spectrum, biology does not deny that biological differences has a correlation with genitals (genitals are not causally linked, that would be hormone levels). Videos like this one shows that opposition to lgbtq+ positions are based almost entirely on misunderstandings of what we actually believe, not actually related to any factual argumentation. There is nothing in this video that contradicts the overall lgbtq+ position, though you can obviously find *some* people that believe wild things when looking hard enough at any group.

Most of these comments don't seem to understand these terms and are just resentful because of what someone said on twitter so: FEMINISM Contrary to popular belief feminism has nothing to do with belittling men, in fact feminism does not support sexism against either gender. Feminism works towards equality, not female superiority. There isn't just one type of feminism, there are a variety of feminist groups including: girlie feminist, third-wave feminist, pro-sex feminist, and so on. All these groups aim to deal with different types of discrimination women, and sometimes men, face. Feminism has given women the right to vote(1893), the right to participate in military combat(2013), access to birth control(1916), the ability to form worker's unions(1903), the right to equal pay(1963), the right to education(1972) and is working towards many, many other forms of social inequality. GENDER /noun either of the two sexes (male and female), especially when considered with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones. The term is also used more broadly to denote a range of identities that do not correspond to established ideas of male and female. "a condition that affects people of both genders" Basically, gender by its nature CAN CHANGE across cultures and within individuals as they age or as they are exposed to other cultures and can also be indeterminate or fluid. SEX /noun either of the two main categories (male and female) into which humans and most other living things are divided on the basis of their reproductive functions. "adults of both sexes" Basically, sex CANNOT CHANGE, as it is linked to specifc biological criteria, but can be indeterminate if those criteria are not all met. Feminism, transgenderism and any leftist group you may oppose does not dispute ANY of the above info.

I'm no feminist but this doesn't come down really to "talent", all the athletes are talented in a way, just men's bodies are different to women's bodies biologically

Why is it so often you see fat lazy people clinging to the idea that male athletes are physically stronger/faster than females. I see way more of these painfully boring female bad at sports and feminist bad compilations than any radical “feminist” saying there isn’t a single difference between men and women. Please keep using the .0001 percent of “feminists” that think this way as an excuse to be willfully ignorant.

Yeah, because woman are different fisically. Our body has more fat than muscle because of the baby etc... :) So yeah for that man in those time has to take care of the hunt etc.. (sorry for my english) Also I don't know.... In america latina the indian go all together to hunt, the wife is here and walk 6 hours in the jungle too she will help him but differently. So I think maybe before it was the same... Maybe some woman fo to hunt but she has different technique. Because woman biologically are not stonger than man (I mean, if she train and a man not yes she will be, but otherwise nop)

My wife stays home and home schooled our son. I am the sole bread earner. If my wife does exactly what I do, true, we'd have twice the income, but my house would be a total mess, there'd be garbage everywhere, we would all eat fast food for dinner, weigh 100 lbs more, and my son, instead of being an elite student at a top engineering college, would be working a minimum wage job right now.
