Eugenics has been made into such a dirty word now days, when in fact, it has the potential to the best thing for us as a species. This is an amazing area of research.

Yes, but it has to be approached with utmost care and forethought. If we get this wrong, it will be absolutely disastrous, on a level rarely seen before. If we get it right, we could end human disease and suffering as we know it. The price is worth the effort and the risk.
