People are resentful towards people who are hostile and resentful towards people of the middle and higher class. Imagine how they’ll feel once they realize that their kids have to compete with kids who are genetically modified.

It didn't have the sort of computing power available now. AI was far weaker in 2012, and CRISPR needs masses of data to run through quickly to get better. Generative AI is just now being combined with CRISPR to design more precise CRISPR gene editing. The hippie dude undersold it but he's looking at it where it is right now, which is no guide to the future.

What do you mean? Already cured Sickle Cell Disease and Beta Thalassemia. Also HAE and ATTR are deep in clinical trials.

@@AJLepore-o4s Yeah. CRISPR is about to take off. It simply lacked the power to do so a decade ago, but...a lot has changed.
