Indirectly maybe for the conquest of the carebear planet & Earth by the G3 & there whole high power but he is kinda not fully at fault for the events on Gatlas (yes he ran away & caused the G3 to become aware of the planet but its not like her directly caused the whole conquest he only caused it in a kinda accidental way). He also is directly responsible for the whole defeating the G3 freeing the others & they kinda felt bad for his sacrifice (they could've just killed him off then)

The reason Kenny was removed is related to his voice actor Justin Roiland and the legal trouble he got into which pretty much tanked his career. If Kenny was to return in a future High on Life game chances are like with a lot of other Roiland roles he will have a different voice.

I also wonder if the writers could salvage Kenny for the next game. One way I could see this happen is that the writers could say he went through "Gatlian puberty" offscreen, which not only gave him a new voice but has also made him more like a rifle instead of a pistol which would be a better way to differ him from Sweezy. Kenny is not in this dlc because the voice actor got into some legal trouble and got removed from the game just like how his voice got removed from rick and morty. Just an educated guess.

1. Kenny isn't coming back because Roiland was cancelled IRL. Companies don't usually retract on cancelling their former agents, since that reflects poorly on the company. 2. The DLC is a joke. Just the name alone is a joke. Probably making fun of Fallout: New Vegas.

I admit that, aside from the whole Justin Roiland situation, perhaps the reason why Kenny is no longer around, I initially thought it was a gag that Kenny had been replaced and that not even Squanch Games had taken action because I thought Roiland was dubbing as well Knifey doing his voice as Rick, but then I found out that he wasn't voiced by Roiland, but by another voice actor. As soon as I found out I felt a little stupid.

It wasn't even Justin Roiland's fault. He got falsely accused and everyone immediately jumped on the Metoo bandwagon without even letting the court decide if he was innocent or not. He got charged and the charges were dropped. What the hell happened to Innocent until proven guilty?

For those who don't know yes part of the reason Kenny won't be coming back is the legal trouble but that isn't why he was removed he was removed bc there are two endings to the main game one where everyone lives and one where Kenny sacrifices himself and dies that's why he was removed bc the ending where he dies at the end of the main game is the true ending
