Putting Gene Wilder in any comic endeavor is a guarantee of a great film. Bill Murray would seem lucid and clear next to this madcap genius. "GIVE MY CREATION LIIIIIIIIFFFFFFFEEEEEEE!!!! That yell as he enters the realm of the demented, is one of the great comic props ever seen. Teamed with the fabulous Richard Pryor, they raised the comedic bar beyond The Milky Way Galaxy. A natural at comedy if ever one existed.

This was one of the funniest men around, but he has to be the most underrated actor of all-time (I've always said this). Just look at this clip here. This captures some of his best efforts as an actor. We've been conditioned to respect drama more than comedy, but this is incredibly hard to do.

+Ally Armitage Please stop. So Robin Williams had a disease, but what about other things that went on in his life.
@phayzyre10528 жыл бұрын
***** Ally, since you look at everything in a religious sense let me explain something to you...... I consider myself to be a Christian and I believe in God and Jesus. However, if I took my shirt off and you looked at my back (in a religious sense) you would see backstab scars and knife wounds that were put there by some of the most religious God fearing go-to-church every Sunday "Christian" type people out there and it has ruined me to the point that I don't go to church anymore. When I see people like yourself write the things that you have written here it is a major turn-off! I have never lost my faith in God or Jesus; the only faith I have lost is my faith in man and that includes these idiots who profess to be “Godly” and uphold the Bible but like the Bible verse says “inwardly are ravenous wolves!” Fred Phelps and his lunatic family are shining examples of that. Sure, not every Christian is bad but the bad ones are the majority making the good ones look guilty by association! And since you’re a self-professed Christian what gives you the right to judge others!? A friend of mine posed on Facebook a while back “Some of the most judgmental people I’ve ever met go to church every Sunday whereas some of the nicest people I’ve ever met are covered in tattoos!” Personally, I hate tattoos and will NEVER have one but you know what…..I can agree with that analogy! You have NO right to come here and write this crap. Yeah, suicide might be a sin but you do not know what Robin Williams was going through at the time. And yes, Richard Pryor not only snorted enough cocaine to cover 1000 football fields and did who knows what other drugs but did you forget that he also had multiple sclerosis? If you want to be a good Christian then do what every Christian is taught what God would do: Forgive! My grandfather had an old saying: “you’ll attract more flies with honey than you will with vinegar.” Maybe you need to learn that adage and apply it to your life instead of bashing others just because what they might have done in the past!
@phayzyre10528 жыл бұрын
Marvin The Maniacal Dancing Ape Thanks, Marvin! Again (just to be clear) I'm not slamming all people who go to church, just the majority who I've dubbed these "costume party Christians" that go through the motions at church every Sunday yet leave their Sunday faces in the pews after services are over. I had a boss who's Pentecostal and he was another example. This jerk would go to church every Sunday and come Monday it was like he walked through the door, dropped his pants and said to himself "okay, who can I screw over this week!" On guy I knew lamented at him and remarked "dude, how can you be a Christian yet do people the way you do!?" His reply was "well my job and my faith don't go hand in hand!" Can you say hypocrite? Sure you can. The day he was transferred we all threw a celebration after work!
@phayzyre10528 жыл бұрын
***** Ally, I to have been to the pits of hell with depression almost to the point of giving up but thankfully someone came into my life who wasn't a judgmental "churcher" but a good kind-hearted Christian pulled me out of that misery and guided me towards a better world. That person is now my wife.
