I don't usually work on small engines, but my generator did't get service last winter and only started and ran on full choke. I watched this. I did the first clean out and used some Carb cleaner and noe I'm ready to go. It's not perfect, but this was so easy to watch, I would risk doing the whole cleanout next year. Thanks!!!

I've seen lots of video's on youtube about the surging but I'm pretty sure you can fix anything 🙂

I think I have the surging fixed. Just a carb adjustment.

Doesn't look like you took out the main jets (couldn't get a screwdriver in there?). That probably caused the surging unless you didn't have the choke pushed all the way back to the right...

You are right, I did not. I did not have a skinny screw driver that would get in there. The surging has calmed down now that I have run it for a while.

Too bad that generator was false advertising by Generac. It is not 3300 watts. Its 1650 and it cant handle running anytbing

Yeah, I tried to run my circular saw with it and it just kept tripping the breaker. I was however able to run a Graco airless paint sprayer.

You are an idiot. ALL generators are rated by total watts available via all of the outlets. Not total watts available thru just one outlet.
