GUUUUUUDD Morning Lawnmower Lady!! Whew, they left gas in it that long, WOW!!
@TheLawnmowerLady3 жыл бұрын
They sure did Mr Blake! I give them credit at least for starting it up once. I've had some come to me 3 years sitting new in the box, and when the actually need it, there's some defect, and way too late to return for a refund or exchange, and they spent the weekend without power anyway.

Thanks Mr Roger! I think I'll be in the clear on this one. I actually can run my entire on a Honda EU2000i (except the A/C) and I have a reminder in my calendar to test it every three months. That has saved me throwing out everything in my freezer more than once.

Thanks for this video! I have the exact same unit, and what happens with mine is the pull start will stop dead halfway through the pull. During the last snowstorm I actually nearly broke my wrist (and I did break the recoil starter). I just replaced it but am still uncertain of the cause. It feels like one of the pistons is getting stuck at the top of one of the cylinders. It was suggested to me to remove the plug and drop some mystery oil in there. Any ideas? Like your video this unit has hardly been used. I did notice the previous owner might have over filled the oil.
@TheLawnmowerLady2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! If it was over-filled it could be partially hydrolocked, that means there is oil in the combustion chamber and you can't get over the hydraulic pressure of having extra fluid in there. The other thing could be a sheared flywheel key, but I seriously doubt that if the flywheel was off just a little bit, it would tend to kick back like that. I hope it turns out okay for you.
