You're not lying I got a bad fear of dentist my dentist claims I got tartar build up from inside my gums I got a dental procedure on the 13th and I still don't believe in X Rays work mannnnn I fucked up bad growing up as a kid and I mean real bad now I feel like I'm gonna lose it all in surgery.

Forget it, however small the discomfort, having any procedure on the dentist chair is a nightmare for someone with a phobia. I have avoided dental treatment for 7 years now, I believe. Considering general anestesia, but as silly as it sounds, I'm even scared of the IV needle.

Many dentists' answer to dealing with patients who have dental and needle phobias is to stick a needle in them. It's a total lack of understanding.
