This is a great discussion and I am glad to hear the prospective of a younger adult. This is literally an issue across the nation. Graduating from College not having the option of employment in the major that you graduated in or even a job requiring a degree. Needing a job and having to take a job that you do not intend to take look at the options. When we are looking to go to college, graduate and step into our careers with a good Job with benefits, investment options, etc. When you have a whole group of people who work in those type of jobs (fast food, customer service/retail) those employers BIG OR SMALL do not pay their employees wages that will allow workers to live. They are given minimal hours so that they do not have to pay ANY benefits. Most of those benefits are left to management. Fast forward to 2024 now we have corporate companies who are taking away benefits although they may pay more. We are looking at hard times on all levels of employment for some.
