What if you have a General Contractor subsidiary for your company? On a spreadsheet, would General Conditions be the same as Contractor Overhead?

I'd probably need a little more information to answer this better (such as the type of contract), but generally speaking - no. General conditions are a list of soft costs associated with completing the project, while overhead is typically grouped with profit (OH&P) which is calculated on top of all your costs. Again this is different based on contract type, not sure at what spreadsheet you're looking at

Labor, materials, equipment would all be examples of hard costs, hope this helps ! 👍
