Please Have Faith In Salvo-Liberation Sara Salyers And Co. It's great that they are competing against each other, dividing the pro-independence vote and improving the chances of Unionist candidates. Keep it up, chaps.

It’s interesting listening to the people running, all running for the benefit of Scotland, great people, strong visions for their area and wanting to help. However I feel for them, in the system they are running in. To become an MP in London, it’s so distant and I don’t feel they’d make a difference, that’s defeatist but it’s hard to see the guys go down there and do their best but for what. Scotland should be making decisions in Scotland for Scot’s, our position is not good! It’s depressing, why can’t more Scots see our position? Good luck, smart guys, good cause! For Scotland, keep the faith! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✌️

Well done everyone, and best of luck at the election. I hope we get a large number of pro-independence supporters elected. My worry is that in 2015 we sent down to WM a whole raft of what we thought were pro-independence SNP MPs and yet they pretty much achieved very little, and seemed to have their heads turned, a big disappointment to us all. Why was this? Is it because WM MPs don’t really have much power? Who makes the decisions? Who pulls everyone’s strings? However, a very interesting show thank you, and very best of luck to you all.

If we are embracing Scotland United, like it or not includes the Greens. We have many barriers and obstacles in our way to independence without adding to them. AUOB includes all independence seeking Patriots.

Unfortunately the SNP have been more focussed on POWER rather than INDEPENDENCE and blaming others for everything. The SNP have not articulated any post-indy plans, no plans for - defense, growing the Scottish economy and no clarity on currency or what would be the bank of last resort, nothing related to borders with the RUK, fisheries protection vessels, how many *real* embassies would be required / staffed / costed, whether there would be a passport office, a DVLC office, a GCHQ equivalent etc etc created. The list is endless because NOTHING has been done but they need to be costed and scheduled into any Independence plan and clearly explained to the electorate to get their FULL SUPPORT for Independence. Consequently Independence is dead for at least the next 15-20 years. As there has been no real effort to develop the internal infrastructure beyond the central belt, the majority of manufactured goods will need to go through RUK so export / import tariffs need to be addressed. The SNP have essentially lied to the electorate, Independence now would make Scotland a 4th world country with rampant inflation, a crash in housing and land prices, total skills drain, loss of all inwards investment, leaving it open to 'carpetbagger' chancers from other countries to 'cherry pick' any remaining prime assets now that wind power, oil, whisky and many large estates are now owned by *foreign* entities.

@@SoylentGreen-h9h Fully aware of that time. The fight between 1919 and 1921, was a guerrilla and sectarian conflict involving Irish republicans, Ulster loyalists and British government forces. Pogue mahone. Are you really proposing armed insurrection ?

I got to half way thro. With intentions of sharing this. Despite a few positive things said I started to get depressed when John gave us his take on how his area would vote.. It’s always the same, us Scots have this desperate need for ‘facts’ driven ‘oh god we’re all doomed’. If you work in sales you NEVER look at any possible downside, or no one would buy anything. We’re too honest. There are multiple ways of getting Indy and I believe we will do it on many fronts. I’m excited at the prospect of Indy. Point out the failings of our opponents and accentuate the positive eliminate the negative.

Everything he said came true. Reality is hard to swallow and like so many other points made ...we all knew what was going to happen. Kudos that he wanted the votes to stay in the Indy camp. Also well done to everyone who got up off their a*** and stood for election. Rather than whining on youtube.

You're all banging on about Scotland's resources, can you explain what they are?. Because we only own the water board, and they are pumping sewage into our rivers and lochs just the same as a private company in England, Are you independence supporters claiming that the wind belongs to Scotland?.

@@barrheadboy1684 not really, OIL - just 61 companies own North Sea oil and gas licences and the contracts contain clauses which essentially say no change if independence - most of the 61 are publicly listed, while one-third are privately-owned and therefore less transparent. A handful of owners are state-owned enterprises from China, Russia, Norway, Korea and the UAE and USA.. WIND - The SNP sold the offshore wind licences for £ 750 million ( a small % of their value) to foreign companies, NONE are owned by Scotland - WHISKY production and many large estates are now owned by *foreign* entities rather than Scottish.

@@SoylentGreen-h9h You're talking nonsense. The foreign companies pay tax typically in their own countries or through offshore accounts. Why did the SNP sell all the energy licences for just £700 million to preferred bidders and not retain any interest in the company. ? England got 18X Scotland and retained 5% interest in company to maximise income via a dividend each year. The SNP don't have the financial nouse to run a chippy.
