heddalee I think Jackie looks fabulous also. Her dress is contoured with no fluffy shoulders and it isn't poofy at the waist, her hair style reminds me of Finola Hughes in "Staying Alive".

Not all the early scenes are here, but Tolliver caught Susan lying to him when she said she asked for the money from the Q's. She lied when she told him she asked Monica for the money when she and Monica talked on the phone. Tolliver walked in and asked her, then found out later she hadn't asked. So he finally confronted her. Then on the night of the murder, she was on the phone with Jackie. Tolliver walked in through the back door, feigned ignorance, and said he was going to get drunk.

Ditto IslandGirl. I was never a fan of Luke's but OMG, I loved Robert! I fell in love w/him during the Ice Princess caper: dashing, handsome, witty, smart, great temperament, sensitive, caring, charming, affectionate, tough...the list goes on. It was inevitable for Holly to fall for him, what woman wouldn't? I loved that Holly chose the better man! Too bad these days GH has lost that standard of people getting together and staying together for the right reasons!

Interesting that Heather has on the same color dress Susan had that night. Funny, Jackie has the same color as well. Monica a lighter shade. Purple must have been hot this year. Robert made a crucial mistake not having Tolliver searched here and also putting the handcuffs on front. Someone who is waving a knife would be considered dangerous and would be cuffed behind.

This was the last episode Demi was on before she did Blame It On Rio. You could tell she learned a lot when she returned.. her acting was so much better.

Ahhh, good point. Hadn't thought of that. I thought that she had every intention of going through with the blackmail since her last words to her son were that she'd have a surprise for him, meaning the money. I thought she intended to tell Jackie just enough to tarnish the Quartermaine's rep but not enough to make blackmail and 2 million moot. Shows what I know...

Tolliver says Susan was looking at the papers (with one hand) while putting pins in her hair (with the other hand), smiling, and then she turned around, saw him, and then he shot her. Part 14 shows that she wasn't looking at the papers but was actually putting pins in her hair with BOTH hands and was then removing her bracelets, not smiling but humming, then felt someone looking at her, to which she turned around and was then shot. Not a major goof on GH's part but there are differences...

It's not really a goof but it's what Tolliver remembers. Well, that's how it can be explained.

Tolliver was always spying on Susan and the Quartermaines. Perhaps he overheard Susan calling Jackie. Remember, Susan was going to tell Jackie everything which would have made blackmail a moot point since all would be revealed.

What I don't understand is, did Heather know Tolliver committed the murder all along? Or did Scorpio figure it out and then put Heather up to doing this? If she knew he did it all along the writers just dragged this out for the suspense and entertainment. Robert sure owes Heather big time for doing this for him

How did Tolliver know that Susan had no intention of going through with the plan to blackmail the Quartermaines? I don't recall that at all. Have I missed something or was this a plot point added to the story at the last minute to justify/explain Tolliver being the killer? And how would he know Susan felt little pain and that she died almost instantly? It's not like he was paranormal/psychic.

Heather back then was manipulative more than anything. When she returned to GH 2004 forward she was off the rails and the stories she was involved in did not make sense. Back then Heather was a lot more sane than later on and could be caring when it suited her.

One thing I'm not sure of, Pxl, is why you don't have any Tolliver/Heather shots in the clip for any of these. For instance, you have Jackie and Holly in the clip for this episode. Seems you'd want to have one of Heather and Tolliver.

weezie1982 Scotty beat Luke up on his wedding day to Jennifer Smith and knocked him overboard, he was then locked up for murder until they realized Luke wasn't dead. 1980 This isn't Scotty's first time in jail being accused of murder. 😁

They did that from time to time. Made Dan an annoyance to me. Luke was always the great and wonderful hero. So many props, so many talking about how great he was. Even when he was gone for a spell, like right now, characters went on about how great he was. Made me hate Luke! Funny, for once Bobbie is on Scotty's side!

Husion1 Luke is in the mountains right now recovering from the avalanche, leg problem, Natalie is his therapist and he is living with some man. Pxlbarrel is only showing us the Quartermaine's, the way sussezq only has Luke & Laura. I agree with you about them always propping Luke up, he was no hero to me nor was he sexy. This is just my opinion; but if it were not for Genie Francis and her on screen chemistry with Tony I do not feel his career would have taken off like it did, we saw Luke through Laura's eyes. When Genie wasn't on the show the ratings went down, he was no longer interesting, he was boring and "just there" with a big ego. If you watch their tv interview right before she came back when he was the mayor they are sitting at opposite ends of the couch, their body language says A Lot, his ego was Huge. I was not really a fan of Tony's, I hung in there for Genie because they did have great on screen chemistry. I also feel he began to resent his character being with Genie and that he was a big part of their on screen relationship breakup. Gloria Monti really favored Tony and he could do no wrong in her eyes and he knew it. I also believe it was Gloria that told Genie it didn't matter whether she lived or died and that Tony was the whole show. Genie waited until Gloria died to reveal this piece of information. Gloria did bring GH to the top so she was good but her personality 🤪, not so likable. She got rid of Denise Alexander at the end of her contract for standing up for Genie needing a break after the Ice Princess storyline. The actresses were disposable, Gloria liked her men. Genie had some seriously emotionally draining storylines in her five years, she needed a break for a while, Tony got what ever time off that he wanted. I understand why Genie did the cocaine to get through her long days working on the set and dealing with all those egos.
