I've already stated why they're still on the air. And there is no denying that GH has had much more success in awards than OLTL. However, I don't feel that emmys make a good show. Considering they're based off a handful of submitted episodes, I prefer to judge a show based on their entire body of work. I should say that while I still firmly believe OLTL was a much stronger show, i've come to really enjoy GH. I started off by only watching Todd scenes, but now I'm enjoying the whole show.

Actually OLTL is dead because it was Brian Frons' least favorite soap, and GH was his favorite. ABC would never admit they made a mistake by canceling the wrong show. So instead, they take the same executive producer, the same head writer, the same actors, the same directors, and the same music supervisor and move them to the show that would've made more sense to cancel.OLTL came in under budget, had higher ratings, and was more critically acclaimed than GH.

i hate this opening too but what can i do, abc using a bad 12 second ver of this opening and I also miss the old theme song but fyi Dave Koz's faces of the heart is not the original version of the theme we know and love the original is called Autumn Breeze
