That's exactly what I thought when Camilla & Chennedy were both ruled out for the game. They knew even if they got the 8th spot that they couldn't make a run so tanked in order to get in the lottery. I would never play for a team that basically forfeited.

@@marywilson5192 camilla had a shoulder injury. the same one she had at the beginning of the season and chennedy was also hurt. her foot was wrapped up after that dallas game i believe. there was no point in pushing for the playoff if 3 of your starters are hurt

They purposely tanked this year. The Mabrey trade and then Chennedy randomly out with an unknown issue after the Olympic break. The team over performed and was doing well before the Olympic break. They were neck and neck with the Fever.

Mabrey asked for a trade because they aren’t a professional (winning culture) organization, and their coach prioritized one player statistics and playing time for some reason.

The Coach is responsible for everything the team does or fails to do. The fact that players want out of the environment tells the story. Simple leadership here. Yes, a major change needs to take place starting with the coach. Simple leadership.

@@hasandelee No reason???...it took 10 games before she realized CC should be starting...and that game against the Aces Cardoso had 4 or 5 blocks against Aja and she took her off her in the last play and they lost the game...that's just 2 big things...she never has a plan for using what little "bench" players she has...the girls have lost respect for her the way they acted in the locker room after the Aces game...She couldn't even calm them down...No...I don't think so...she may be good at something...but not their Coach...sorry ..not sorry

@@daisyhenry332 Carter was only on the team because of her & the same with angel. She gave carter a chance. and if you don't remember carter was out of the league last year. I like carter but the girl can only play 25 mins a game. That's a 6th man at that point. Having a center guard the inbound pass is quite common but I'm guessing you don't play ball. It didn't matter if it was doso or angel down low. both of them get hit by the same illegal screen that Plum put on them. The bench played like trash the entire year and you somehow expect them to get better? hell even with all the starters injured the original bench players DID NOTHING IN MULTIPLE GAMES, they had the chance and they suck. izzy was coming off of injury and was very inconstant all season, dana was straight trash and was mentally shaken because she's weak which is what her own father said. Diamond is trying to gain her powers back and was very inconstant. E.will was injured and if you don't remember the sky were 4-5 with her. every time racheal came in she had plays drawn up for her to get her the ball and it worked, problem is... racheal was inconsistent like the rest of the bench. Now tell me, how exactly was the bench going to help? there is a reason why the starters had to play 38-40 mins some games. the bench is TRASH. the fact remains that she NEVER had a full roster other than 2 games. She delt with injury the whole time. milla out a month, carter out 3-4 weeks, angel missing the last games, e.will injured, diamond missed the last few games. like what did you want? she did better than projected and almost made the playoffs still

Coach Spoon coached like a first year pro coach. She has a quality that endears her to young players wanting to work hard because they feel supported as not just players as people . However, Spoon has made her share of rookie mistakes. Her rotations were puzzling at times, her play-calls during crucial final possessions were often terrible conceptually . That said, she deserves to able to run it back .
