Every single nigerian in his/her heart knows that buhari is the man who can take nigeria out if it's misery life into the better tomorrow we've always hoped for. But because our mind is filled with nothing but ethnocentrism, we prefer to give support to others whom we know wouldn't do as much. Many southerners who wouldn't vote for buhari would do so solely because he is either a Muslim or a northerner , and many northerners who would vote for him would do so because he is a northerner. Nigeria is no more in a time where it reviews candidates credentials and vote for such a person due to his competence. The earlier we change our views and unite the better our country will become.

The faith of Nigeria is being put on cultural, ethical, and religion that has cost the country economically, citizen lives and corruption reasons instead of voting for a actual leader. if you don't vote for buhari, who else would you vote for. Atiku? His corruption knows no bounds or would you rather reelect badluck Jonathan who's lack of leadership and corruption has plagued the whole nation. Real change is what we need, not stagnancy. Buhari has my vote!!

It is God that appoints leaders to positions of authority. He uses whatever means to do that. Let pray to God to give us another leader IF God has not finished with Dr. Goodluck Ebele Johnathan. If God has not finished with him, there is nothing anybody can do. I remember that we can no longer spend 4 hours at Ore. I remember that I see trains at Oshodi with thousands of Nigerians loaded both inside and outside, I remember that Agriculture is now booming in the country. I remember that young Nigerians are given grants to own and establish businesses(You Win). I remember Apapa - Oshodi express road now is fantastic. I remember 12 Federal Universities being created to cater for 1.5 million JAMB candidates in Nigeria, I remember hundreds of 1st Class Nigerians sent to top world universities for PhD to fill vacancies in the new universities. I remember Ibadan - Lagos express road. I remember Lagos Murtala International Airport(with AC, foreign exchange points, toilet and water facilities, customs and immigration points, etc). Well, if God says that Dr. Goodluck Johnathan does not deserve a 2nd term with all his efforts, then we will see. He is not from my palce, I am not a politician, but just to be fair and not partisan. LET GOD HAVE HIS WAY. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

If Nigeria could cut corruption, 70% of her problem is solved.Frivolous spending,government waste,foolish international debts,white horse projects,misappropriation of funds,nepotism,cutting the government to size.The Federal government is too large and has become so overweight,too lax and too lazy to do for Nigerian what she needs to grow.Please,fellow Nigerians,Vote Buhari in, at least for a change.Forget about your religion,ethnicity or social-political zone for all that doesn't carry weight now.Do it for your children and grand children yet un-born...The Nation has robbed its future generation! In the past 20 years Nigeria has make more than $1.6 trillion in crude oil sale and there is absolutely nothing to show for it.Yet again we cant just depend of crude oil alone.The world is changing,Its evolving to using cleaner energy.How about mechanized agriculture?Manufacturing?Creating enough energy to supply electricity?We are not building any infrastructure,no effective postal service,bad aviation management,NNPC,police reform,affordable health care and the list goes on.If you love Nigeria and pray for Nigeria to attain its old glory this is the chance....But remember "The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former says the LORD of host, and in this place I will give peace,declares the LORD of host.Haggai 2:9.

Be objective in your views so we can all identify were the problems are and find ways to solve them. Unfounded accusations and bias support are just a few causes of Naija issues. Be brave, smart, intelligent, objective and pragmatic enough to post something proper. Naija is better with us identifying and empathizing with one another than pointing fingers at each others based on sentiments and tribalism.

***** Shut up, your too ignorant, go learn history and maybe you will find and understand the true reason why China managed to reach where they are today, you have no idea how much power the west has on Africa. I recommend crash course history for ignoramuses like yourself.
@RandomMZ141210 жыл бұрын
Anulax Aina I'm sorry, I must have struck your fragile cord that flusters you. China is not the point. It is just an example. Get it? Now there are 2 kinds of Africans. Those that continue believing they are the puppets of the west and those who are smart and strong enough to identify and source out the root cause of their issues. Wake Up, it is the 21st century. If you continue to believe that Africans are dumb enough to be influenced by the west, then we should stop these conversations because we don't even deserve the change. Now respond with class if you can
@MrAnulax10 жыл бұрын
Your'e funny. You think the basic Joe does not want to see or do change in their country. You are deceived if you think that. See nearly all the governors in Nigeria do indeed come into power with intentions of developing and changing their states, but western influences will not allow that to happen. Put it this way Mr. Gadaffi, who may I say is probably the best leader we have ever had as a people, was killed because he was trying to empower Africans. The west of course were not going to allow this to happen. China has a very strong defense mechanism, which scares its western counterparts. In simple words the more powerful you are as a country the more freedom you have, that is a statement I believe we can all agree on.
@RandomMZ141210 жыл бұрын
Anulax Aina Why do I keep hearing western influence this, western influence that. I have always known that Identifying the cause of a problem, renders the problem half solved. If western or eastern influences are the cause of our problems, why aren't we even close to half the solutions? if the so called basic Joe or the governors coming into power truly intend to turn things around, what happens to them when they get the power. Easily bribed, lack discipline, No integrity and sell the welfare of their people for money. Nigerian leaders have no concept of the wealth of the nation is wealth for all. So, NO, I am not deceived. You are. Our problems are not anyone's influences but ours. About 60-70yrs ago Japan was on its knees after WWII. Today, Japan's economy is almost twice the economy of the entire African states. What were we doing to let this happen? We have nothing to contribute to the world besides what grows in our soils. No innovations, no ideas, no adding value to what others made which by the way is what Japan did to be where they are. The solution to our problems will start from when we stop pointing fingers at others, have strong convictions to genuine progress, eliminate our primitive biases and cooperate with one another, propagate the concept of technological creativity and innovate. Let our natural and agricultural resources become just a bonus of what we contribute to the world. Damn! if we have copy other innovations, lets do that and make it better. That is all Japan and South Korea have been doing. I hope you are above the age of 60. Because I hate this "blame the west" idea carried on by the youth. I want the west, north, east and south say, we are being influenced by Africa and not the other way around

The greatest problem facing Nigeria today is corruption, indiscipline and injustice.These three words have consistently found its way into every aspect of our country's political and socio-economic life--and has remained PDP's watchword. I am not a Muslim, but in Buhari I've seen a man that is capable, disciplined and incorruptible. Let us accept him and vote for him en mass for the sake of Nigeria's survival. He is fearless and non acquisitive--and these virtues are exactly what ''GEJ'' is lacking. Jonathan, has tried his best, and obviously speaking his best aren't enough. He has failed to punish corrupt officials in his government because he is lacking in courage and political will. Please, Nigerians, for once let us put aside ethnic sentiments and vote according to our conscience! We should see his age as an advantage because he has seen it all and cannot at this stage of his life be driven by obsession for what he can benefit from our enormous resources. WE NEED CHANGE! Buhari, is acronym for Bring Us Hope And Remove Injustice.

When next they tell you Buhari will Islamise Nigeria if he becomes the president, tell them they are senseless; that no democratically elected president can Islamise Nigeria. When next they tell you Buhari is too old, tell them you prefer an old man with a purpose than a youth without a focus. You may even ask them that what benefit did the youthfulness of Dimeji Bankole who became the number 3 man (Speaker of House of Representatives) at the age of 37; James Ibori who became a governor at the age of 41 and Lucky Igbenedion who also became a governor at the age of 42 brought into the system. When next they tell you Buhari is the sponsor of Boko-Haram, tell them they have gone nuts. That they used the same propaganda to campaign against the man in 2011, so why is he still walking the streets while the menace Boko-Haram is burgeoning and the president has not ordered his arrest? When next they tell you APC is more corrupt than PDP, tell them “no matter how good they are in mathematics, they'd never be able to add up the sins of APC and arrive at the report card of PDP since 1999. Logic and common sense will always be their undoing in such a mathematical venture”. (Credits to Pius Adesanmi) When next they tell you about Buhari’s human right records during his 18 months sojourn as a military head of state, tell them he is not coming back as a military head of state but a democratically elected president and that does not erase his sterling anti-corruption credentials which is what Nigeria badly needs at the moment. When next they tell you that it is wrong for Buhari to be hobnobbing with the likes of Tinubu, Atiku and co, given his toga anti-corruption; ask them if they voted for him when he decided to go it alone? The change is here!!!
