When they did the storyline of Jake's death/Josslyn's Kidney Cancer.Josslyn was a baby. Viewer's pay attention to details.

Joss wants to hate Sonny and act like he isn't a part of her life ok fine. Then that means that whatever perks comes from the lifestyle that Sonny has ends just like that. Michael is going after Sonny, which will hurt multiple people, as his lackey Dex is too excited to hurt people and now Joss wants to get Sonny arrested, for things she'd praise Jason for. It's like they don't realize that attacking Sonny means that innocent people get hurt in the crossfire, but then again they can't take the time to actually listen to Sonny and his side of the story.

You forget she’s Jax’s daughter who is wealthy. So if she needs any financial support he will give it. You forget who the real dad of Joss is. The only reason why Sonny was in her life was because of her mom. Sonny deported her dad so he couldn’t live in port Charles as she was growing up. Sonny literally inserted himself into her life.

But they play it like Sonny is her replacement-daddy these days… And Joss didn’t have a choice as to that, he was in her life from the time she was born in at least some capacity. She regularly complained about it after Morgan’s death and Sonny deported Jax, even after her mother got back together with Sonny. She only re-warmed up to him when he was shot (for the seventeenth time) and when Sonny was raising her when Nelle gaslit Carly into a mental facility. She had no choice about that either. Families are complicated though, and I don’t really understand what people want Joss to do. She’s reacting the way most people would if someone treated their mother badly.

What was Sonny supposed to do in the court the case wasn’t about him it was between Nina and Michael and Willow and their attorney tried to discredit Nina so her attorney tried to do the same in return. It’s not Sonny’s fault Scott used that tactic. People expected him to just stand up in court and be held in contempt for someone who made it clear he didn’t want Sonny in his life anymore. Nina warned Carly the day Carly slapped her if she pushed Sonny away and didn’t take him back that if Sonny came to her she would not turn him away. The only reason she didn’t sleep with Sonny in Nixon Falls was because she new Sonny was married to Carly and she knew Sonny didn’t know. Carly should’ve just swallowed her pride and hurt feelings and just went back to Sonny especially when she married and started having feelings for Sonny’s best friend Jason.

I loved seeing Josslyn bust her Uncle Sonny. The look on her face tells the story. I will never forgive or forget Sonny for sleeping with Nina and the pain he caused his family and that includes Carly and the kids.

As much as I like Joss and don't condone violence, I can't be on her side in this scene. She is coming off as a judgmental hypocritical spoiled brat. Her sudden eagerness to turn Sonny in has nothing to do with to do with a sense of morality and doing the right thing. She just wants to punish her stepfather because she blames him for destroying his marriage to her mother. She always knew Sonny was a mob boss and didn't care until she felt he chose Nina over their family. She didn't even seem concerned at all about the guy that was beaten or try to check to see if he's okay or get a doctor. It was all about getting back at Sonny. If she doesn't want nothing to do with him, then she should stay out of his business and mind her own.
