This whole situation between Liz and her parents for 25 years has gone spiral. She has the right to be disgusted with her parents (End of story). But in the meantime, I don't understand why would Jeff had alot of nerve to come to PC & shows his face at her job at GH? He was and also his wife are terrible examples to not ONLY Liz, but her half-blood sister Hayden and Sarah as well. But with Reiko was the most terrifying thing I ever heard and seen for a long time ago, THAT on the other hand was horrifying. And Finn tried to help her at the time, was very disturbing. If anyone that is reading this comment. What do you guys have to say about this brutal storyline?

@Shaniqua Wells Exactly! Liz is one of the few characters (maybe the only character) that has ties to the original version of GH. She's Steve Hardy's granddaughter, for God's sakes!

This was cathartic after seeing everything Elizabeth has been through since coming to Port Charles, the rape, her boyfriend dying, getting married, miscarriages, having kids, thinking Jake died etc and her parents could never bother to show up for any of it. Laura and Luke treated her more like their own child them her actual parents did. Its sad to see what they did to Jeff's character. He had some issues back in the day ( the RDA era) but to desert his child is so awful.

I hate how these so-called writers just completely ignore the REAL onscreen history of the Jeff Webber character and all the drama, mess that Heather Webber put him through. He was a significantly character on GH throughout the mid/late70s up until the early 80s. Richard Dean Anderson (aka MacGyver fame) who originated the role, was really good. This recast of William R. Moses in this role doesn't seem like Jeff Webber, but a totally new character. His daughters Liz & Sarah are pretty much made up back stories (off screen), when the Jeff Webber character has not been seen on GH or since Richard Dean Anderson left the show back in 1981.

Why did GH writers change story line? Finn` s wife died of a rare disease. Why was he doing research to cure it all this ? All of a sudden she was pushed down stairs and was killed? I have never seen such a mixed-up back story! Doesn't this inconsistency bother other viewers ?!?

Hell no. They didn’t show up when she almost died from various things, they didn’t show up when Jake “died”, they didn’t show up when she was RAPED as a kid, they didn’t show up when she was being abused by a drugged out Lucky and her child was kidnapped, they didn’t show up when her best friend was killed, I could go on and on. Jeff and Caroline straight up abandoned her. They can go to hell. They don’t deserve her or her kids.

Nah. Her parents can both stuff their excuses. Liz went through hell (25 years of it) and neither of them were there. She even brought up a very valid point when she threw Sarah right in their faces. Steve Hardy would be rolling in his grave if he knew what his son had been doing all of this time.

@ShockWave ZERO If you can forgive your own parents for drugging you in order to keep a secret that involved someone's death, then power to you. Side note: the writers should go back and do more research on Jeff's character, because he was NEVER like this in the 70s. Unfaithful, yes... but not as big a scoundrel as he is now.

What I hate is how they are making Jeff and other characters bad people. It was the same when Rick Weber came back and did something in the attic that missed with Laural's mind. I can't remember what it was it's was so many years ago. Is their anyone that can refresh my mind.

It was almost same storyline. Dumb GH writers rewrote history yo say that Laura as a teen had caught Rick having an affair and killed his lover. Rick gave her something to suppress the memory. Years later Laura was in their old attic and started to remember. When Rick approached trying to calm her down she thought he was attacking her. Somehow Scotty intervened and ended up killing Rick but Laura thought she did it and ended up in a catotonic state and was committed to Ferncliff.

I know I've watched this I was in grade school. Jumping of the bus to run in the house to catch the last 10 or 15 minutes of it. It was on only 30 minutes and we only had a black and white TV. It really bothers me that they turn great characters in to bad guys. I'm so sick of them bringing Heather back so many time's. 🙄

What a stupid rewrite. They left Liz with Neighbors to go save people and she made it to her grandmother's. The real story is here on youtube not this whole Liz killed someone and her parents sent her away to her grandmother. They really needed to stop rewriting history.
