I really don’t like this Finn. Alcohol can do such ugly things to people like Finn being in denial . Even Alexis chuckled when Finn said “ I’m not an alcoholic , That’s v your thing Alexis” Denial !!

@@kellymcfalls1458 The addict is not yet ready to admit that they cannot imbibe any substances at all. Even “legal” ones. They just “dig in their heels,” and keep on drinking. Next they usually say something like, “I can quit any time I want.” That is when they try to stop, and realize that they cannot. At that point, if they are Ready, surrender to the process is the next step. I hope this will happen soon with FINN. He is a good guy.🥺

He was never On the bottle. That is why he doesn’t think he is an Alcoholic. His addiction was to another substance. He will have to hit rock bottom to admit this to himself. All of this is so realistic. Painful to watch, tho.

@@joiisler3012 I think 🤔 Either he will show up for work drunk or hung over and get suspended from the hospital and then go get drunk again and then possibly some type of harm will come to Violet and that will be his”rock bottom “and then he will call Chase to get his help with going to rehab and Chase and Brooklyn will take care of Violet will . And before that happens maybe an intervention will happen with Chase and Brooklyn and Liz ,Alexis and Tracy and possibly Curtis a fellow addict and friend

@@kellymcfalls1458 Doesn’t sound like this man, who has done far more Good than Harm, will be given the Grace by his loved ones and/or colleagues to allow the story to play out the way you describe. I think that his storyline’s harsh and rushed process is a way for the writers to rid GH of the character. Possibly forever. (They turned the Good Doctor into “Mr. Hyde” just a little too fast for a respected character. jmo)

I Will Never - Ever Understand As To Why People Would Even Start Drinking Just Because They Lost Their Very Own Family That Was Closed To Them. I Honestly Get That It Is Very Painful To Lose Your Love Ones But Finn Is Not The Only One Who Lost Gregory, There Is Alexis, Brooklyn, Chase, Elizabeth, Tracy, And Violet Who Lost Him Too. Finn May Be The Father Of Violet But He Should Know That She Is Too Young To Be Around This Sort Of Thing And I Don't Care What Finn Says Because Brooklyn And Chase Will Get Her Away From Her Drunken Father And When Finn Is Sober Then He Can Have His Daughter Back. I don’t like this storyline. Finn was never an alcoholic. Second, this is a terrible way to write out a brilliant actor that deserved Steve Hardy status. Carly is back to regressive mode it’s not enjoyable because she evolved so much- now she and Sam are fighting over Jason. Regression. “First one was an accident.” And without build up. This is so plot driven. Michael Easton you will be missed.
