Wow, Chloe! You are phenomenal! 👏Congrats for the PB and for this amazing race with all the wind and rain... So awesome to finish it under 4/km!👏

Fantastic race, Chloe! How you did it matters less than the fact that you did it, and ultimately it's got to be the result of a solid year of consistent, patient training and some really gutsy race efforts throughout. What you've done is super impressive. Enjoy your off-season, whatever that might be, now that your year of racing is done. I fully expect you to break 90 minutes for the half in the not too distant future, and I'm sure that you're going to totally smash your PBs when you get back to doing parkruns.

Thank you so much Eddie! Consistency really pays off. I would love to break 90 minutes one day, hopefully I get close to it next year! Thanks again for all the support this year :)

Great time Chloe. The wind and rain was brutal. That last stretch back along the waterfront was rough. Well done.

Thank you so much and congrats on your race! It was horrendous at times really, I also really struggled on the stretch by the port towards the lighthouse

Wow Chloe, what a result. That is the perfect way to end the racing year. Maybe going into the race with no pressure on yourself was the secret key. With the insta, I mainly use the camera out of the case (which is why the battery always dies 😂 ) but before you export try changing the view from wide angle to narrow. I’ve found that makes the footage much more stable.

Thank you Rachel! It was definitely the best possible result to finish the year, I wish it had been a sunny race though! Thanks for the tip, I should try to change the view next time

And Chloe crushes another PB! So strong, so impressive, so inspiring! And to do this in such terrible conditions too! I can't wait to see you in cloudy conditions on a flat course in cool air - you will go sub90 very soon! Keep pushing my friend!
@ChloeHamard Жыл бұрын
Thank you Paul for all the support this year! Up until a few months ago I didn't think a sub 90 was possible for me but now I'm thinking, maybe I will get there eventually!

You did amazing! I think living in the uk gave you an advantage over the locals when it comes to running in the rain!

Thank you! Haha maybe, I've trained in the rain but been lucky enough to never experience such a rainy race in the UK!

Congratulations on your PB, Chloe. You are very strong to PB in the weather conditions that you don't prefer. Maybe you were trying to run away from the element quickly? :-). I didn't realise these go pro cameras are so small and light, I still use my bulky phone for filming. By the way, maybe you won't be not liking rain so much after you PBed? I personally think, challenging weather conditions build your character and make it more interesting. It's funny how different people call different type of weather horrible. I know you prefer the warmth and the sun, but I absolutely wilt in the sun. I'd rather have rain or snow. Malaga is definitely a great place for you!

Thank you so much Olga! I agree that challenging conditions build resilience, and this race showed me that I can really push through when the elements are against me, but I still would have preferred to finish the year with a sunny race!

Thanks Colin! I would be over the moon if this time next year I can do a sub 1:30!
