0:40 it will get more nerfs than just turning performance nerfs. Currently it has the same issue as the F-15E had before nerf, EF’s engine is heavily overperfoming at higher speeds producing ~2.2 TWR while even empty EF with no fuel at all should have max 1.67 TWR

The euro fighters engines IRL are nuts 60kN dry and 90kN with afterburner per engine and it weighs less then the F-15 there also planning on upgrading the engines do they can produce 78kn dry and 120kn with afterburner

So in terms of WT where min fuel is 30% of max fuel load its max TW ratio should be 90*2*10^3/12.5*9.82*10^3=1.47 which is exactly 1.5x times less than it has rn

3:16 A German Eurofighter has been recorded on flight radar hitting Mach 2.6 without falling apart although it's altitude at the time was not disclosed, even if that's clean it makes the update they've just done an hour ago which nerfs either the thrust or drag so bad it can't push past 2.05 with A2A load is even more embarrassing than this bug report makes out report for gaijin.

@@gregc9344 I'm sure there are very slight revisions and improvements to the aerodynamics of the design throughout different versions, there almost always is, some of which can't even be seen or are very hard to see. Also, with different versions come more refined flight computers, optimizing the control surfaces better which can have significant performance impacts, even on something as simple as top speed. The F-35 is quite literally the prime example of this, it went from shit to actually pretty good, mainly through flight computer updates.

Yes the Typhoon is vastly overperfomring and the Rafale is vastly underperforming , especially in BFM where the Rafale has proven by multiple occasions IRL to be superior to the Typhoon but who are we kidding at this point ? If the gazillion last dev servers are anything to go by then we know nothing will change in terms of FM , we will get the exact same FM in the live server , there is absolutely no chance that Gaijin makes the Rafale better in BFM as it should be .

Potential double kills and some tanks have a laser warning receiver so lasing the tank can give them warning also if you have to dodge SPAA and lose the lase the larger bomb increases your chance of getting a kill

Main problem with this plane CAS is the LASER!!! TV or IR and even GPS are so better guidance than the laser so basically you can take million laser bombs and rockets but you will die to the first AA, + you can take one target at a time..

I like the F-16. The F-16AJ imo is terrible in sim because the center MFD means you're constantly shifting between looking down into the cockpit and looking at what's happening in battle. Or you can just have the radar display always render on the side but that's distracting. Even moreso in VR. Even the pythons might be useful in sim

I’m not really sure if it’s an actual FM nerf or if it’s due to the fuel load bug being fixed. Either way, it’s missing a LOT of thrust. Like 1000kg of afterburning thrust per engine. If US mains can cry about not getting an upgrade to the F-15E that most squadrons didn’t see until 2022, and some *STILL* don’t have, I want the EFT to have its IRL performance.

F15E with the 229 engines is essentally an F15EX without the 20missiles and AESA radar, the F16C block 50 should be able to outrate both of these aircraft. Still waiting for the Flankers to get competitive tho.

This update should be a good argument for either the AESA or C-5s going to the F-15E. The Eurocanards will dominate the turn fight and the F-15 will (and should) dominate the standoff. But can definitely see a FM nerf coming to the lot too. But the F-15E should definitely (at least) get it's AESA mod this update.
