Hello sir may I ask a question about pid, When we use a pv as pv_per , how it knows range ? I mean for example I gave a set point 50.0 and I give a piw288 input and that value for instance piw value is 15000 . At that condition we didn't give a range to pid input how it's compare value with set value

Dear sir, There are two options that we can use it, for PV_PER it mean that PROCESS VARIABLE PERIPHERAL The process variable in the I/O format is connected to the controller and data type is WORD. But for PV_IN the data type is real. Thanks you.

@@sinanartemis6176 Dear sir, Thanks you so much for you questions, normally output of transmitter is analog right? It provided 0-20mA or 4-20mA or 0-10VDC... ect. Then you can convert from raw value to actual value it mean that convert from INT to real by using FC105 or another function then you can take the value of output from FC105 to PV_IN of PID block it will work. Hello sir, may I ask when we use pid block fb41 I want reverse action how can I set that. I mean in normaly when the pv is less then sv output becomes increase. I want a reverse action on output. How can I adjust that

Dear sir, Thanks you so much, we can reverse it but basically you can write more about this formular as (100-Output(from PID))=Output(Analog) I hope it work. Example output from PLC =80% so 100-80=20% then you convert 20% to 4-20mA or 0-10V of analog output. Thanks

Isn't that wrong to use double words for one channel? I need a help on this issue because I know that each channel is represented by single word ,isn't that right ? Why are you using two words for each channel though ??
